Just came across a recent photo (you can tell by Madagascar Madness in the window reflection) on Instagram of a platypus mascot with the word 'Dreamworld' on its hat (obviously it's at Dreamworld). Has anyone else seen him around lately? Maybe he is a new Dreamworld mascot to replace Goldie... Thoughts?

I have him on a placemat from when they still had the bushranger show......

Looks like the Expo 88 mascot.

His name is Aussie the Platypus and he has been around since expo 88 like westical has stated.

Is that Expo Oz? It will be good to see him again as 2013 is 25 years since World Expo 88. Makes me wonder if Dreamworld care abot Expo 88 why didn't they get Expo's "Titan" rollercoaster when World Expo Park closed or the "Demon" when Wonderland closed?

^It'd be kinda like buying a lemon car if they bought it off Wonderland.

Aussie has been at dreamworld for over 20 years but he has gone through numerous face lifts. Aussie left around the same time nick came in from memory
