So I'm assuming 1 more support & 2/3 more pieces of track until we have the full element in place?

Additional supports are being installed in the centre of the current gap between the two sections of track.

And the top "A" shaped part to connect those two supports is now being lifted into place.

It's nearly as fast as when I build rollercoasters with Knex!

Kinda what has been desperately needed though. Something to make people driving past on the highway go WOW! If they still build a hotel, along with top golf going in now too, can you imagine how much appeal the frontage is going to have? I hope they plan a new arch to the main entry too. Make the whole place feel new and fresh from the moment you drive down entertainment drive.

Movie World always has been a little hidden away, almost possible to drive past without noticing it's there (if you're not trying to look for it of course). Dreamworld is a lot more "in your face", especially with WWW right next to the highway. The new coaster will certainly make MW a lot more prominent.

I've heard a few guys say building started in this spot because Mack told them to, but, I'm willing to put money on this section turning into a giant billboard for the new coaster once it's done... 

Especially after seeing the view from @Adrian86 's photo

That's actually a really good idea. Hanging a banner of some sort, or fix a board from the rides supports during construction. That would really stand out and especially facing towards the highway.

Or this section is at the back of the site. So it easily to do there first without having the navigate the coaster to get to it later. Even more so if Mack told them to do this, Mack would have nothing to do with advertising.

All roller coasters are built based on accessibility for constuction workers and what's most convenient to manoeuvre around the site. I honestly doubt MW were like "hey build dis sectionzz 1st plz cause lyk we wanna put a huge banna up kbye"

The coaster is no Arkham Asylum and the general nature of a Hyper coaster means accessibility is not going to be a huge problem anywhere on site.

Unfortunately have had to leave literally *just* before the crowning moment of the last track piece, but here's a couple of pics I just took on site!

Do you know the layout? Are you a construction worker on site? Do you know anything about construction in general?

Any estimates on how high that completed part is?

now i know why they built that part 1st. that's the highest point in the coaster they wanted to show off how high it was going to be really early.
