It seems like a nice little treatment for what was an awkward, small space. I'll be interested to see what changes, if any, have been made to queueing and how that all looks. Given there's everything from unused vibrating floors to LCD screens it'll be interesting to see how it all pans out and if any of the existing elements get re-used.3 points

Great to see Dreamworld looks to have gone with the new style Vekoma trains. Still think Movie World should have done the same with Arkham and gone the new style SLC trains (then they might actually be able to run two). Looking at the photos the area looks good, going to wait until I have seen it in person until I fully judge it. Now to wait and see what the food options are at the "new" outlet.1 point

1. I don't see a Disney park coming to Australia in the next 20 years 2. Why would they have to drop prices to meet our market prices for annual passes? Would you be happy with them dropping their standards and ride theming to that of Dreamworld and Movieworld? what makes Disney is the attention to detail, immersion in theme, and that comes at a cost, a significant one.1 point

Well they'd have to consider making it cheaper, looking at the current parks' prices. Even if it is Disney, I would never fork out 1k just for an annual pass.1 point

Please let's not get into this again. As I've said before what's done is done. Individuals took certain foolish actions and the park responded accordingly. Everyone here has expressed the blatantly obvious about the stupidity of these actions. It's done.1 point

AlexB I don't see the issue, they're called "fast food" chains, not "fast main meal" chains. They're all places you can duck into and grab something to eat within a few minutes. So you get 'food' in a 'fast' manner. In the context of this discussion, somewhere like Wendy's is relevant, because theme parks have ice cream parlours, which may or may not be a franchise.1 point
