Calm down joe, just because you don’t understand the video doesn’t mean you should blast people. And what’s with the random attacks of the people on parkz and golden years (whatever that is)?

I think that’s overly harsh. It’s not a marvel of production, but it’s good for what it’s meant to be, which is part of an marketing campaign to promote the ride. If anything it’s designed for the joe public, not the Parkz crew, as most here would know what goes into the procurement process, whereas others may not have given it thought. I’d rather a BTS doco style campaign than just putting out rehashed marketing collateral that says or does nothing.

Dreamworld have posted a great video, part 1 of a 5 part series on Steel Taipan. https://fb.watch/v/1jUNzbgBs/ Production quality is mint, much better than anything they have produced in years. It’s great to see them embracing the ride rather than ignoring it.

Can I have what you are smoking? The titling and transitions are amateur hour. Greg’s fine (even if they framed him poorly in the shot) although it’s not captivating. Did they make it for the five enthusiasts on Parkz who care about ride procurement and those people who run that bland golden years Facebook group? So misdirected.

I don’t think the track has been removed, but instead they’ve just put gravel over it to allow for the machinery to move down that path. And just to clarify, there is no track in that second image, the track is behind the trees to the left. I don’t think we’ll say any track modifications through here.

I think it was an observation of the long wide spanning arcs, not a critique of the ride nor comparing the experience to a playground.

It's really easy - if you go to something, and can't find anything to keep your attention long enough to stay for more than an hour, then it's probably not worth your money. Just because someone has a different opinion, you don't get to invalidate them just because you think that staying for 28% of the event runtime wasn't sufficient to determine their view on it. The 2019 film 'Cats' runs for 1h50m and I watched precisely 0 minutes of it, and I feel i'm able to make a fair judgment. I don't need to watch more than 10 seconds of the Wiggles to know that their music isn't for me. Heck - @ejpdtd even acknowledged they weren't the target audience. SMH.

Another delay was bound to happen. When an estimated 70% of the Sydney population can't understand stay at home orders it was bound to happen.

Apparently there is a announcement that lockdown for Sydney is going to be extended tomorrow, so Luna park shouldn’t be picking a reopening date yet.
