I'm going up to DW on Thursday so I'll be able to take some pics and also will get a good look at the place. Is it just me or do all the colours contrast a bit with the bush?

I think I'm going to buy the Dreamworld one, then if I'm here when Superman opens I'll buy my pass to MW then. By the way Neb I took that picture with my phone and the next time I'm at my dad's I can send it to you via a pm if you want.
-
That's what I was thinking, I'll suss it out. Thanks.

No this isn't a "which is your favourite?" poll but it still asks the age-old question-MW or DW. I'm buying a season pass soon but question is whether to but one for Movieworld, where I can watch the Superman construction and hopefully ride it (I am leaving for france on 2nd of December) or go to Dreamworld and get some serious riding done- the MW season pass is alot cheaper so I am inclined to got there but Dreamworld is nagging at the back of my mind small mind....what would you do if faced with this life or death descision?

I was planing on buying soaked but I wasn't sure how good it is. I think I'll sit tight till the price comes down.

For me it's a tie between The Claw and the Drop. For actual ride experience it'd have to be the Drop, I just love the freefall and the view. So normally the Drop would win but as the Claw has great theming and good capacity and some pretty nice airtime it's a tie. I do have to agree with Joz and Rappa though WO is a great ride.

Nice photos rabid that over bank looks great, really intense.

I think Dreamworld is easily a 2 day experience. For me it took about a day to go on all the major rides and most of them twice as well as fit in some time at Blue Lagoon etc but we still didn't get to go to down Gum Tree Gully and there were a few things we missed. In the end I think it really depends on the queue times and the overall crowds.

Interesting thanks for the update Richard, I'm really looking forward to these new thrill slides.

I like the new forums design, much nicer then before.

What do YOU want in replacement of the Thunderbolt?

Really? What about GD compared to the Claw? TOT compared to Wipeout? There have been quite a few changes, just nothing significant. And will everyone stop saying they would like to see a TTD clone put in? It's just not happening. -
Yeah awesome video Flea, really different.

In any case they should be getting another coaster sometime in the next 2 or 3 years, it's been 3 years since the last decent one and that wasn't even decent. I though most people knew by now that DW was getting a water park. -
Originally I was going to say the reason theirs is alot bigger is because there is a bigger population to support it, but it isn't exactly close to madrid... anyway I think the park looks awesome, Superman and Riddlers Revenge look great.

Better not be December, I'm leaving for france sometime around then.
-
As long as the site is not making any profit from photo's of their park, I can't see anything wrong with posting it up.
-
^But not if you were being an idiot and simply tripped over you're own feet. Any way, this thing WV are doing is starting to piss me off, Richard won't be able to make any Magazines or DVDs and if they keep it up till when Superman opens I'm just going to tell everyone that the ride's going to be s**thouse, regardless of how good it actually is.
-
Of course, it's not the park's fault at all, there are plenty of warnings that people see before boarding the ride.
-
You rode all the coasters in the first hour and a half but the X queue was 2 hours long? Anyway sounds, like you had a good time, looking forward to disney. How was Scream! ?

A wild mouse, a Pirate Ship, and a few flats....http://www.aussieworld.com.au/fairground.php -
Hey Zoggy how was Euro Disney? Oh, yeah, back on topic. Last time I got on LW three times, a near walk-on all times, very happy with how the ride-ops on LW operate.

Well yeah they are similar in those terms but it's like comparing RR to Cyclone really. I've never had to wait long for LW though. -
While I do agree that he should join in on the conversation more I think he makes pretty valid complaints.
-
Because it's something to keep you entertained while the other riders finish their ride. It's also air-conditoned and adds to the story. I didn't hear of any other attractions apart from Out back and Superman.

"Superman Escape" construction updates commence

So will the ride entrance be in the plaza area with the fountain? That would be the best place to have, close to the front of the park.
