  1. I love all the coaster Rocky Mountain Construction are doing at the moment. I never been on one but love the look of them. Has anyone on this site had the chance to ride one? I also has a sketch book sacsta but once the internet came along I realised some had hacked my brain while I slept and stolen all my designs.
  2. I have seen the area next to the Big Brother house used as a staff car park at xmas times before but I don' t know if this still happens.
  3. To add to this Group Chief Executive Officer, Mr Greg Shaw advised: “The sale is an important step for the Group The sale of the land and its anticipated development will ultimately create a connection between Dreamworld, the Coomera Town Centre retail component." I have always thought Dreamworld wouldn’t do anything around the Coomera Town Centre site before it is completed. It’s always been my speculation that once the town centre is finished then Dreamworld will expand towards it as it has always been DW intention to create a new entry to DW from the train station side. DW has played around with some attractions being open at night and I think this will happen once again but from the Town Centre side.
  4. Dreamworld always had that land marked for the Coomera Town Centre. Dreamworld tried for years to build on the land but the direction Dreamworld wanted to take it was not what the governments had planned for that parcel of land. In short Dreamworld wanted it to be more like a Downtown Disney but government wanted it to be more like Robina Town Centre.
  5. In regards to the V8 Supercars section of this topic- New application for the RELOCATION OF EXISTING HUMAN RESOURCES was approved on the 1.7.2015 and SPECIAL STRUCTURE was approved on the 6.7.2015. Does anybody know where the Human Resources building is?
  6. Never a good idea to get your information from an employee. This has been mentioned many times but Dreamworld no longer owns the land where the Big Brother house is located. “Ardent Leisure Group (AAD) today advises that the Group has entered into a contract to sell surplus land to the north of the Group’s Dreamworld site in Coomera, QLD to the Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC) for a sale price of $16.5 million in line with book value. The settlement of the sale is anticipated to occur in January 2010 upon the issue of a separate land title. Of the sale price a sum of $11.5 million will be paid upon settlement with the balance of $5 million deferred for 12 months. The parcel includes land zoned for Town Centre Core under the Coomera Structure Plan. Group Chief Executive Officer, Mr Greg Shaw advised: “The sale is an important step for the Group. In the short term, sale proceeds will be utilized to further strengthen the balance sheet and provide additional capacity for organic growth opportunities as they emerge. The sale of the land and its anticipated development will ultimately create a connection between Dreamworld, the Coomera Town Centre retail component and the Coomera rail/bus transport hub. This connection will provide enhanced public transport access to Dreamworld and White Water World for our Brisbane and Gold Coast patrons.” Ardent Leisure Group is a specialist operator of leisure and entertainment assets across Australia, New Zealand and the United States. The Group operates Dreamworld, white Water World, d’Albora Marinas, AMF and Kingpin bowling centres and Goodlife fitness centres across Australia and New Zealand. The Group also operates the Main Event family entertainment centres in the United States.” Dreamworld has been leasing the land for Big Brother house since they sold the land for the new Coomera Town Centre. 1. Dreamworld land 2. Land was approved as an overflow carpark when stage 3 for White Water World was going ahead. DW cleared the land ready for the carpark. When stage 3 fell over it was left to overgrow again. 3. See number 2 4. This land was part of the sale but was later removed because the Queensland Government wanted the buyers to hand over the land along the existing creek to them. From memory it was 10m each side of the creek. I don’t think DW will ever be able to develop this land as the Government is now calling the creek a tidal area. 5. Land sold for new Town Centre. Note: Big Brother House is located on it. 6. Koala feed. This is DW plantation for the gum leaves.
  7. It's a shame dreamworld doesn't own that land.
  8. It's all ok now. It's like it never happened. His photo has been edited to say “Here's a construction update of the new kids area coming to @seaworldaus!” I wish he would hurry up and buy a pass to Dreamworld. Gazza I don't think you have given due credit for the photo's you posted.
  9. What are you talking about Brad. When did she say Friday?
  10. Yea my fingers work faster than my brain. . SPACE FLIGHT ACADEMY
  11. DREAMWORLD MOVIE WORLD SEA WORLD Note: SW does not own the land but it is leased from the state government.
  12. I always wondered why my misses wanted to lick me after I had a shower and I thought it was me.
  13. Because miners love V8’s. You drive though a mining town and you normally find a HSV dealership. This make me think that Holden or Ford are behind the revival of this ride to sell more cars and we know Dreamworld loves getting into bed with other companies to save a buck. Example Mushrooms around log ride = Campbell’s Mushroom Soap. I don't know if this still happens but I do remember that back in the 80's every ride at Dreamworld had a sponsor.
  14. Then it must be a coaster, if he said it.
  15. A couple of weeks ago the Green Lantern sign was on every night. But now it has been turned off again.
  16. As per Richards update. "Dreamworld's V8 Supercars area is set to expand significantly later this year. Given the area is right between Wipeout and FlowRider – Ocean Parade's two most oceanic – it'll be interesting to see how they make the area work, particularly because Ocean Parade is looking the best it ever has since last year's redevelopment." I can see a lot places you could add a shed if needed. What make you think it's going to be a elaborate exhibit?
  17. Not if you could enter the museum and not have to ride the cyclone. Changing the cyclone train would just be taking it that one step further.
  18. My money is on the cyclone getting re-themed to a v8 supercar roller coaster. New train and queue turned into the museum. If I remember correctly there is meant to be one major overhaul this year like what was completed last year on the Wipeout. Cyclone has a 4 week maintenance period at the end of the year where this could be completed.
  19. It's a bit of a concern if a ride operator has the ability to override the blocking system.
  20. Which wanker keeps deleting my post. Here's another one for you to delete.
