  1. I think you should have told MW before they went to the LT store option. //s Could have been a great little prelude.
  2. MW needs to do a stocktake and check Greg didn't take some microphones with him when he left.
  3. @themagicianI believe Ardent is holding back with its approach to DW’s recovery. To me it looks like Ardent believe or did believe they could get back to 2.4m guest with half a park. Not only does DW require getting the attractions back to where they were before 2016 but it’s essential DW adds to the pre 2016 attractions just for DW to overcome the damage and negativity Ardent caused to DW’s reputation, to get anywhere close to 2.4m. I wonder if GW can hang on that long.
  4. If you think looking pretty is a huge success, then sure, it's a huge success. If you think success as driving sales up, I think you might be disappointed. I know, I'm not rushing to DW to ride it. The sharks are circling Gary Weiss. At the last annually general meeting, shareholders were asking, where are the missing 1.2 million people? It's been seven years and DW is nowhere near the 2.4 million customers a year it had before the accident. A question raised to Gary at the meeting was "given the fixed costs, given the company is still losing money which is a chronic problem (and) the cash deposit is continuing to go down because of the losses … when do you think (you will achieve) the 2.4 million, which is the number you submitted to the market in a detailed list of objectives you had?” Weis said it was “very difficult to make predictions about the future”. “When we looked at Ardent and looked at the historical performance of other theme parks around the world where tragedy had occurred the anecdotal data suggested that there would be a reversion back to pre-tragedy attendances over a two to three-year period,” he said. 3 years recovery + 3 years covid = 6 years. DW should be back at 2.4 million now but DW is only halfway there. What is going wrong? (quotes taken from https://inqld.com.au/business/2023/11/08/dreamworld-boss-under-pressure-what-happened-to-the-2-4m-people-you-promised/)
  5. I think that is a reasonable price.
  6. People who visit Sea World, only travel by boat and have never encountered a seatbelt before, so it makes sense.
  7. @Park Addict 93what's on everybody's lips is how is the loading procedure because that will determine the queue length?
  8. I don't know if you will get an answer, we didn't even realise there was a new float. Maybe a walking character identifies as a Rome float.
  9. It's all the way, on the plus side, the plants are loving their constant showers in chlorinated water.
  10. If only DW had something that could adsorb the falling water to reduce the splashback. You know, like a pool that isn't hidden under a floor. 😁 I also have a joke about DW still drowning people, but it might be to soon.
  11. Do you bring your own snorkel or are snorkels supplied? 🤣
  12. Do we know how much? Before we find out a price, what would people pay to ride it? Theme park cycles tend to be shorter than a carnival setup, so I think you need yo take this into account. Me - $5.00
  13. Can you ride it at the night markets, or just look at it?
  14. Parents room, rest rooms, accessible restroom, ambulant restroom, put them all together and it could take up a large area. Didn't you parents teach you to go before you leave the house? 😀
  15. @TricoartYou don't like it? How about, the Trident is being relocated.
  16. It will be interesting on how wet it becomes under the chairs, with everybody having to walk over the ugly wet grate flooring, to get to the chairs.
  17. Never seen people get so excited over a pile of rubbish and new toilet block. 😂
  18. Thank you @Levram__ It's even bigger than the biggest parade now @themagician😀
  19. The only building approval currently shows is for a ramp & queuing station. Aussie World's new attraction - The Ramp (spend 3 hour's on a ramp to nowhere) Jaggs seems to be a victim of @REGIE earlier post of sarcasm. All roads still currently lead to Aerobat.
  20. Always amazes me how many people attend WC each year. MW could charge $200.00, and people would still go because so many people lose their minds at Christmas. Out of all the events across all the parks, this event must be the one, village hands are the deepest in your pockets. Take one step, pay $10.00 //s The whole night is an upcharge bonanza.
  21. It's like the lefties, were asked to re-design the ride.
  22. Why didn't they go baby bunny hops on the straight? Talk about sleepy town.
