  1. It's a bit early to be calling it @pushbutton
  2. Yes @Brad2912 That's what we have been saying. The button at the conveyer belt was the button that needed to be pressed to stop it. Operator 1 and operator 2 disagree if operator 2 was told to push this button in an emergency.
  3. I don't know the rules around the stop buttons and by the the sounds of it the 2 operators has 2 different views too.
  4. The second e-stop was installed when the turntable was removed so the unloader could stop the conveyor belt if an issue arrived while unloading passengers. The operator on the control panel had an obstructed view and would often be facing the other way while performing their duties. First the controller had to be alerted before that e-stop would be pushed. It doesn't make sense because the unloader only needs to control the area in which that person oversees. If the unloader is having an issue, then the unloader needs the ability to shut down their area. Not somebody who isn’t giving the unloading area any attention. Look at Parkz photos. Who out of these 2 operators will see an issue unfolding in the unload area first? Who out of these 2 operators will be able to respond the quickest?
  5. @alexutting from the Courier-Mail is tweeting updates from the inquest today.
  6. Maybe a Knock Knock will cheer you up @pushbutton Knock knock Who’s there? Boo Boo who? No need to cry, it’s only a joke.

  9. THE builder of the Gold Coast’s latest theme park attraction has told subbies they may only be paid half of their contracts after a financial dispute. Directors from the Brisbane-based construction company Astute Projects Pty Ltd have sent a letter out where they forecast “we can return between 50-60 cents in the dollar to subcontractors” at the $35 million Topgolf project at Oxenford. The payment dispute, which is being monitored by the Queensland Building and Construction Commission, does not involve Village Roadshow or the US-based Top Golf. NO Gold Coast Bulletin! TG is not a theme park attraction.
  10. What do they taste like @pushbutton?
  11. This part reads so much better with sound effects.
  12. KFC isn't a theme park and companies that run our park need to start running our parks like theme parks. Theme parks are meant to be fun but if staff are angry and bored you can’t expect them to show a fun attitude towards the guest. If management create a fun and happy environment for staff to work in then the parks won’t have to tell staff how treat guest, it will come naturally.
  13. No thanks. I don't like sauce on sweet spud fries. HaHa (don't be shy, you liked my slogans). Jealous much of push and my marketing skills. 😛 😁 Yea but last time he was drunk. Imho all DW need to do is bamboozle us with hype. Beat it with the HYPE STICK.
  14. Most of the time I bathe in it while enjoying Gentleman Jack. (I think that was his name or was his name Jack Daniels?) Last time I fast tracked a pizza it was undercooked.
  15. Gentleman are to classy for Topgolf because TG is going to be filled with hacks.
  16. Don't believe a word push is saying @AlexB The only way to lose weight is to go to a paint store and purchase thinners.
  17. What did you expect? Sweet potato's are not fries.
  18. How cute, the self-proclaimed theme park expert is now a self-proclaimed moderator. Could it be the US has the obesity problem so the US parks cater for it already?
  19. Poppycock @Brad2912. Have you never had breakfast at Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant and washed it down with a couple of beverages before starting the day?
  20. What's your marketing campaign slogan going to be? @pushbutton Don’t say one day that day will never come. Get blown by Dreamworld and come today. Or maybe - "You talking to me ?" Get blown away by Dreamworld today. Or maybe you're thinking DW will team up with Guardians of the Galaxy. Stuff the yearly pass push. You deserve a lifetime pass. (this one I couldn't think of a slogan, but it deserves a mention)
  21. @themeparkaddictI've been waiting for you to come back and correct me but Skeet can wait no longer. 😀 BLD20186075 is for a "post assessment" for a new Funhouse being built within an existing building. BLD201805920 Is an "post assessment" for the removal of RMS.
  22. Skeet forgives you. If you want to make news headlines why don't you talk about the approvals for I-Ride. I normally would talk about them myself but that would be a conflict of interest, this time around.
