Dreamworld Annual Pass Pricing
Mwahahaha, 30 bucks will do it though. </sarcasm> Mwahahaha, less than a year ago you wanted us to pay $230.00 and now $129.00 is not ok.

The conveyor belt has always been different from other Rapids Rides being as shown in TPG 1996 home video RR had every second board missing. At some point after this the boards were reconfigured to have 2 boards missing. The operation procedure leading up to the accident is questionable in my eyes because when the pumps failed it was common to leave the guest on the ride while the water was fired up again. Having guest on a ride during a restart is not normal. If a coaster stops running guest are removed from the ride and a test run is always carried out before they let guest back on the ride again.

Everything you have written is or was speculation. Fast Skeets facts. The conveyer spacing is larger than any other Rapids Ride that I have seen. I have poured over hundreds of photos and I would like somebody to point out the location of the sensor where the raft was stuck in the way because I can’t see it. If a sensor is to fail wouldn’t the same plc that tells the conveyor to stop pick up the sensor failure. Did the rail system in the load/unload station play a role? Which I also believe is a DW first. Who decided the water level was ok? Did the water level min requirement change when the revolving platform was removed? What about when the rail system was built? You have discarded all “Skeets fast fact” issues which happen to be the main differences between DW Rapid Rides and all other Rapids Rides. Some which I know happened before Ardent came on board like building the unload stop location so close to the conveyor belt. (a dumb idea by an engineer by the way)

My opinion wasn't formed overnight and I too also wanted to show support to DW. Within weeks of DW reopening I purchased passes for my family. What’s your opinion on TRR?

I believe Ardent put their own interests ahead of guest and this includes ride safety. 100%, I don't believe Ardent have the right people/companies in place to make the decisions they are making. Clearly it didn’t work with TRR but Ardent continue with this practise. Ardent go against what everyone else in the world is doing. No other theme park has a roof over their flume ride and no other Disk-O in the world ties you to the seat. When the wheel assembly failed on the GL, MW went back to SS for them to fix the problem. If DW’s Disk-O has a problem than the solution is not to tie the guest to the seat but to fix the original problem. Ardents practise of going out on their own and going the cheapest option (RHLR roof) gives me no confidence they are doing it for the right reasons. The roof didn’t go on the RHLR to stop me falling out, it went up to stop me suing Ardent.

I once loved DW but I'm not willing to put my daughter on a ride till Ardent is gone. I have no confidence in DW.

@themagician is that by choice?. I liked the area many years ago but bulldozing it and starting with a clean canvas is the way to go. If this is to be a new themed world within DW what do people want? I hope DW have a masterplan for the use of this land and we don’t end up with 2 Ocean Parades.

Adventure World's Inferno - downtime and future
I'm calling a time out because you are both doing my head in. I hate it when people are at your house & ask, "hey do you have a bathroom?" No not at all we shit in the yard. A wise man once said that if you resort to personal insults you’ve lost the argument, and this would appear to be the case here. If you can't play nice I'm going to separate you both. I'm not taking sides here but I 100% agree with Alex. (oh I just did)

Sea World Jelly Fish 2017 Attractiion
It's a tangled web our parks weave. Once you start going down this path it's a hard mess to clean up.

Holly Tintinnabulation Batman! why didn't SW take the opportunity to change the monorail station from an eyesore? Compared to most other parts of the park this building looks hideous. Now it's a building with 3 characteristic different facades. What a dog’s banquet.

Eureka Mountain replacement dark ride
I agree. I'm not the biggest fan of building a wild mouse and covering it up. Covering a WM destroys the switchback (unbanked turns) element of the ride. Removing the ground line takes away the feeling you are going to fall off the edge. One of the reasons Skeeta was happy to see Eureka removed and not covered in a tin can was the fear this feeling of falling off the mountain would be killed off. SDSC top switchback section would be better if a couple of the unbanked turns exited the shed. Not seeing the ground takes away from the element. Personal if DW are going down the Dark Ride coaster track, DW shouldn't take on MW's wild mouse. A coaster like Supernova at World Expo 88 would be a good starting point for a Dark Ride family coaster.

Eureka Mountain replacement dark ride
My first thought was an upcharge when DW switched to I-Ride. I don't believe this to be the case but the thought did cross between ones ears. @Richard I don't think DW will be spending the whole capital either. I'm only pointing out that it could be a reduced capital from originally planned that DW might have left for a dark ride.

I believe a dark is only on a wish list. One must also consider the talk about the dark ride was before the change to the I-Ride and until very recently, before the increase to the I-Ride capacity. Somebody else can do the sums here: 25 Million to spend Flyover Australia $00.00 Dark Ride $00.00 WWW expansion $00.00 Flyover Canada cost U$16 Million. The capital outlay covered the cost to build a new 60-seat theatre that includes a 20-metre diameter screen. It also covered production costs for the exhibits. Flyover America U$20 Million. Both FOC & FOA are built in existing malls but I don't know if new buildings were built or how much of this money was spent on renovating the buildings to fit the I-ride. According to Wikipedia & Parkz SDSC cost 13 Million and this is coming up to 16 years ago. In today’s market it would cost 18,806,441.12. Don’t forget MW already had a shed to work with.
