Who is this fake AlexB posting on Parkz? I knew an AlexB once but I was told he was abducted by aliens and prodded and probed. Side question. How often are people seeing the backward seats empty? It’s probably a coincidence but whenever I’m passing by in the car, it’s empty.

I truly don't believe the show was amazing. The company SW engaged to do the show had all the tools and none of the knowhow of what makes a great show. When I walked through the gates and cast my eyes across the lakes and saw the setup spread across the lake, it got me generally excited to see the show. After seeing the show, I describe the show as random. 1. The show had no depth to it. 2. The song selection was poor. 3. The lights didn’t line up with the music 4. The lasers were underutilised. The water fountains didn’t do anything. The transitions between the songs were strange. The finale was more let’s chuck extra random stuff together to make it feel bigger still without using the lasers, lights, and water effects to their full potential. In the world we live in everybody gets a trophy for trying.

A Raptor coaster is not the biggest and the best and would never knock off Rivals. To add to this the wait times would be painful.

I know the plans were different six months ago. You might have had a hand in it and unless DW says we will never know. Ardent finding out Brisbane was about to get a simulator might have forced DW to take out the competition by taking on the project. The good thing about the idea you had before it was announced is "it was a good one".

@Roachie People have been wanting Soarin at DW for as long as I can remember. DW going with I-Ride has more to do with it stealing it from Brisbane because it was ready to go. Brogent had everything in place and was about to build it themselfs in Brisbane for 20mil with Brogents own money. DW came alone and struck a deal to move the project to DW. November 3 2017 the Lord Mayor believed he had the project in the bag.

@Minions! I-Ride is opening up at the end of 2018 and I believe the new dark ride is for 2019/2020.

I don't think Dr Weisis is the one calling WWW a sister park. "Mr Weiss also mooted a new “dark” attraction on the site of the long-closed mine ride, new attractions for children and significant expansion at sister park WhiteWater World". Moving on - Who remembers stage 3 for WWW that never got off the ground. A major expansion to WWW would be great and well overdue. In reality, I would bank on one new slide tower.

You can be an owner of a full carriage for $2000.00. How good would it be in your living room? I asked my wife if I could turn one into a bar and she wasn't keen on the idea.
