Yes it was and this was GL I have thought to myself before where can I go to pinch a coaster to erect it in my backyard. I'm sure my neighbours would never suspect anything.

I think that area the crates sat is too small. My first area I was thinking it would was next to that area in front of TopGolf but when I did my drive-by yesterday things where getting down and dirty on that site.

Do you think it's normal an engineer would design a ride using a net to catch you just in case you ended up going too high? If this is how engineers work than I would suggest we never go on any ride again. What we don’t know is how and why he got from point A to point B. Point a being the slide and point B being the net. He should never have been at point B so the question is how did he get there?

Why are we so focused on the net? The net wasn’t what caused the accident. The net was the ending of the accident. It would have never been the intension that somebody would every meet the net at any speed.

@Richard Is the netting on the Hydrocoaster purpose to stop people from climbing off the ride when it gets stuck?

@AlexBI would think the smart thing would be if something hit them they would break but from what I have found so far they were made from steel, just like the ones on the Hydrocoaster.

I think people are getting confused here. Hydrocoaster & Verruckt have a similar netting system. This photo is after the accident. You can see the bars that hold up the netting are now bent.

Big Dipper. 1:10 for the on ride. Hot Wheels Sidewinder Hot tip run HWSW and the Big Dipper at the same time. Pause Big Dipper just before the first big drop and when HWSW has caught up hit play.

Getting ready for the next stage yes is normal. Mowing over the parts not normal. I don't know what you are saying about the thread not being painted because it is. You would never leave exposed steel on site. If you want to find a case this area was not protected correctly, next time you go to MW have a look at the GL tie-down rods. Every washer is on its way out already. It don't matter anymore. Footings are in and have put everybody asleep talking about them.

Makes me wonder why all the top washes have been removed and the long nuts. Even if they started on Monday they are not going to attach every support for ages.
