Dreamworld October Update 2019
Revved out of her? I bet she's sore. Wasn't this announced quite a while ago though? So it could be put down to the same vein as 'new ampitheatre at TRRR' and 'Adventure River at WWW' ? There's been a lot of 'new direction' stuff coming out of Dreamworld lately. The shaded seating area was absolutely lambasted by the public at large - they could very well have changed their minds... (I know we've seen concept art for the new design and all, but we saw concept art for the new science lab thing in corroboree too... oh wait there's another one!)

The G-string style i understand, but the high cut? Adventure World 2020 season: No doubt some prudish Karen has complained to the park, and this is their placatory gesture. It doesn't say its banned, just asks people to choose appropriate wear for family friendly environments. The fact they've used the peach emoji makes me think its a little bit light hearted. Some people have nothing better to do I guess.

Dreamworld October Update 2019
Nek minnit, they drain the pool and realise the dye has stained the walls, and the slide re-painting team are urgently redirected to repaint the fountain, leaving the BRO half painted throughout the summer season. Or hell - they just throw walls up around it like they do with everything else.

Dreamworld October Update 2019
Orange dye, in a pool painted blue. no wonder it looks like shit. Nice idea, poor execution. Colouring the water is a movie world thing, right? #Yong

Trip Report: Kennywood featuring Steel Curtain
The ride had suffered severe rust, and was shut down around 2001. It was subsequently removed, and I think Galleon's Graveyard (Captain Caveman's Clippers) was relocated from HBL to the wizard's pad for the final years. Wizard's was directly opposite the wave swinger Dragon's Flight, in the shadow of the Demon.

Dreamworld October Update 2019
I dislike the fact that they've roped off the carriage. I get it - you don't want people climbing all over it, perhaps destroying the hay bales and what not, but there's too many 'themed items' in our parks that are roped off, ruining pictures and such (like the carnivale floats at SW).

Trip Report: Kennywood featuring Steel Curtain
I too am surprised you'd never gotten to ride Wizard's fury, although judging by the picture, I feel like Wizard's may have been on a steeper incline? Probably just my imagination though - Wizard's was built a bit higher off the ground, and unlike Kennywood's example, the inside of the curve was a drop off with nothing inside of it. The headchopper moments through the house were also a plus. Did they run Bayern Kurve backwards as well as forwards? (Something Wonderland used to do back in the day, but stopped in later years, probably both for safety and efficiency). A great TR as always Gazza. Wish we got more of those on the boards...

Walt Disney World Skyliner incident
From what i've heard, there was a short stoppage on the line, and the blue car was in that 'limbo space' between station drive and bullwheel. When the system re-started, the blue car didn't 'grab' the rope, and remained stationary, while the station drive continued to push forward. As screamscape mentioned, older style cable car systems would use gravity to feed the cars from the station to the rope, so once free from the drive wheels, the car would roll downhill and connect to the rope. With this system not utilising gravity, it's reliant on the accelerator drive by the bullwheel to send cars out to the rope, and it was pretty much fluke that the blue car got stuck somewhere in a gap between station, accelerator drives and rope. I think we're going to see some modifications to that area before they restart.

Forgive my skepticism, but judging by your (brief) presence on the boards, you don't come across as someone with an inside connection at DW... would you care to indulge us with an insight into how you know this? TL:DR: Source?

Fright Nights 2019
I wouldn't say 'half listened' - as you can see, the wrap, although it appears similar, completely changes the branding from intencity to 'fun house' and of course, that fits the theme. Kudos to them for paying attention to the detail.

Maybe have a read of this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intellectual_property_in_China I guess, in short, China has acknowledged and agreed to international law on intellectual property in some shape or form, mainly dragged kicking and screaming under threat of trade sanctions if they didn't agree to them. It has however been widely recognised that although China has laws surrounding this, the actual enforcement of those laws is at best, lackluster.
