Possibly an interpretation of this:

A park map is available here but it is not the best quality. Here's something rough I quickly did up in Paint. Yellow is Madagascar Madness, green is Shrek's Faire Faire Away and blue is Po's Garden.

He is referring to the photo on the previous page of the show stage.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z2MPCSvk2do Wodan (a GCI wooden coaster) has opened at Europa Park. A heap of photos from the press event can be found here. I'm also liking the theming of OzIris (B&M Invert) at Parc Asterix which is approaching its opening next week. Photos released recently by the park can be found here.

The train's been having some work done for a while now (over a month). Pictures of it dismantled can be seen in the latest Parkz Update.

To bring this back on topic, I'm going to say it was closed before August 9, 2001, based upon the fact it was not on Movie World's attraction listing at the time. Also, I found some pics of the German ride if you are interested. I believe the facade and ride vehicles were similar in Australia.

Leviathan has been testing for a week now. Here is a video of it in action. It looks incredibly smooth. Edit: they also released a POV:

DreamWorks Experience precinct?

http://www.goldcoast...urism-news.html Bear in mind, a large portion of this would have been spent on the train(s).

What indicates it will be themed to the video game? The theme of Arkham Asylum extends much wider than just the video game. Arkham is rumoured to play a part in the upcoming film anyway.

I think they are just slowly announcing them. Information about the Madagascar show was up before the stuff about Madagascar Madness was. The press release I found a few weeks ago clearly wasn't meant to be released as they had pulled it shortly after. Madagascar Madness and Shrek's Faire Faire Away should be open in April with the Kung Fu Panda section opening by September.

My thoughts from the Lethal Weapon thread: However, as of last week, the "New Attraction Coming Soon" circle was still on the Sea World park map.

^the effects have been a bit of a hit & miss. Here's about it if you fancy having a read.

I believe both lifts were conveyor belts.

Sorry to bring back an old topic but I just found this set on Flickr. They are the original storyboards and keyframes for the second ride's film. They are done by Robin Hall and Neil Adams. The Flickr account belongs to Robin Hall who has a heap of other stuff posted which I am currently looking through.

Thanks for the pics and reviews Gazza. Just caught up now. It will be interesting to see when Universal Studios Singapore expands and whether they will ever open Stage 28 which was supposed to be an opening day attraction that just seemed to disappear (see New York section of the map).

I don't mind the new site. I feel it has sort of caught them up to Dreamworld's redesign from 2010 with the integration of social media plugins and altering background images. The only problem is this is the third or fourth different design currently used on the MyFun website. I would have preferred them to hold off on the release of the new Movie World website until the other park's websites were redesigned.

I made this comment a few days ago in the LW thread before it was split: I thought I'd repost it here because I have something that could support my theory. In an interview in October 2011 (just before the closure of Batman Adventure), John Wood the Chairman of Sally Corp stated the following: It seems to check most of the boxes. Despite Christmas falling just outside of the "Spring 2012" period I believe it could still be it. I wouldn't think it would be something overseas as it is the wrong time of year for the majority of their attractions.

It says spring 2012 which sets the opening around September. That gives 7 months. I could see a dark ride being built in that time. My guess would be a Justice League-themed Sally Corp Interactive Dark Ride. Arkham Asylum is obviously going to be Lethal Weapon's replacement based purely upon this. Looney Tunes River Ride's replacement probably won't be announced until March/April 2013. That is when Village plan to announce a "significant capital investment". I'm expecting Bermuda to be replaced at around the same time.

I'm pretty sure the former Nick shop will stay. The press release sounds like it will be the Forever After's merchandise shop (that is if it doesn't share the same new building as the Madagascar Cargo Hold shop). Also, I'm pretty sure The Lair was originally a back-of-house tiger enclosure so I can't really see that being demolished. It seems Dreamworld weren't ready to announce this as the press release has been pulled from their website.

I think Gingy's Gilder best describes the Kite Flyer. I expect the dogs will be replaced with dronkeys as jjuttp said. Avalanche and Bumper Beach seem like they will remain as is. Depending on where the Kung Fu Panda land is going to be situated, I could see these rides being rethemed then.

Ride names have been announced as well as the addition of "brand new rides and attractions" in late 2012. http://about.dreamwo...N-PRECINCT.aspx
