  1. I am very impressed with VRTP's spending/choices over the last few years especially whilst maintaining the cheap VIP passes. That said can anybody think of where VRTP may have been able to pickup some cheap dinosaures on the coast...
  2. ^ You are considering that one and didn't even do my Austin request.... Disappointing...
  3. ^ Finishing touchers are still being made... I did however recently upload the http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tufScj1k7yU, view it quick before Dreamworld request it removed
  4. Off topic but when I visited IHOP they provided me with unlimited free refills.
  5. Correct - If you had a hard card from 2010/11 you could have kept it if you did not upgrade to Gold. All new passes issued for 11/12 were the cheaper paper, as somebody mentioned if you currently buy a $99 one park annual they are still plastic.
  6. I visited Ricks a few times in the months prior to closure and have visited the new Stars buffet once. The VIP offer for this month and last is $19.99 and Free Unlimited Soft Drink for Gold VIP's. The new Stars buffet has a smaller selection than Ricks had but the same food. Unlike Ricks it is one single entry not a wrist banded come back for the day, no postmix is available in Stars and they gave me a 600ml coke for the Gold offer.
  7. Just as DJRappa said, also there is a social media policy that some staff must sign.
  8. True, didn't entirely make sense. I did see a senior Movie World staffer outside the attraction (just as I was entering the GL Que) also worth noting a new concrete base has been finished inside the building.
  9. Yes, there was the one in Surfers that is now a Supre I believe and another in Pacific Fair that is now Katmandu.
  10. It will certainly be a DC themed family ride, on another note I visited the park this afternoon and may have seen a senior MW staffer infront of the attraction...
  11. I wouldn't be surprised if we do get international theme park here in the near future with Legoland. They are opening up in Malaysia soon, but I would think it may be possible for Merlin to invest in one over here, especially if they make it a joint venture with VRTP. In my opinion the lego that was in the Sydney attractions were possibly as a trial to gauge popularity just as the Arkham Asylum maze was at last years fright night.
  12. ^kujotess I suggest blocking out your pass number and barcode too All current passes (excluding Annual Passes) are issued on this "Season Pass" stock. SUP = Current Super Pass, until June 30 SUM = Local Summer Pass, until February 29 Expiry unless extended for extra money until June 30 VIP = Normal VIP Pass, until June 30 VIPL = Local's VIP Pass, until June 30 GOLD = VIP Gold Pass, until June 30 As my Gold was reissued recently it also has "Season Pass" rather than the original VIP 2011 stock.
  13. ^ Actually that image was not posted by Sea World, that is just one of the many fan pages being idiots.
  14. Your Trip Report is basically the same as every rainy visit I have made to MW Like most I have to disagree with your opinion on Arkham's restraints, I had a peek into the new theming car the other day and it looked as though it had a smoke machine setup inside.
  15. Regarding the 4PM closure the other day I have been at the park late last year when it happend, and I am sure it has happend since. DW does closed at 4:00 on occasions as a business decision, note also the 3PM Madagascar Live was cancelled the other day. WNW also closed yesterday around 2:00ish but that was due to visibility of the lifeguards ect.
  16. I disagree, the logo with coaster is used on the website and without is used on the current Park Maps. I have not seen the logo with Shock Therapy used publicly. The logo regards of some small text is the same.
  17. I dont think they are confused, Arkham Asylum - Shock Therapy is the full title however just Arkham Asylum or Arkham Asylum Coaster can be used as necessary. This is the official ride logo as provided to me, note versions of this logo exist with both Coaster and Shock Therapy.
  18. If you can try and get some photos or video of the Austin Powers Dance/Performance.... This along with the Batman fight and Wonder Woman robbery are not on the show times.
  19. ^ Correct TZA is just speculating.... I am honestly stumped, I agree with some posters above why use CGI/Rainforest for a new animal exhibit... In regards to Bermuda work was being done recently but I have no idea if it was simply being gutted or not. It would make sense for it to be gutted whilst Sea Viper is under "extended maintenance".
  20. I agree, in Movie World's defence they did post their own http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmJmvln-bP0.
  21. I do not see parks allowing any public filming of rides in the future regardless of GoPro's. The parks ideally will only want their own approved footage of their rides hence why everybody was provided with a pre approved Arkham POV and we could use our own GoPro to film our "presenter". At the GL Media Launch we could use our own cameras duct taped ect. .
  22. A considerable number of overseas visitors visit the Gold Coast parks, I dont know the stats for VRTP but you would be surprised at the % of overseas dreamworld visitors and their average in park spend. Having been to USH and USO I agree, dont see it likely happening any time soon.
  23. I want this shirt! (Photo from SFMM TPR Thread)
