Basically the reason for the loose item policy is due to insurance, I have no problem with requiring a locker just dont like the fact it is a form of revenue rather than cost recovery.

I seriously think it is likely it was just a mistake made by one of the Dreamworld team members rather than a hack or Facebook error. The offer going out was "BUY 1 GET 1 FREE! before the text/image was removed.

I would suggest everyone to email or raise the issue in person with Guest Services as I did rather than to bother them by phone or when they are busy dealing with more serious complaints. I doubt it will change unless a hell of a lot of people complain...

When I did not receive a response to the original complaint I did send a quick email and got a form response... I had no problem with the $1 Hire nor do I take issue with them requiring lockers for SE and GLI really do not see how this price increase can be justified other than revenue raising. Whilst I can certainly see why from a business sense park entry is so cheap I would prefer to pay $200 a year for the three parks with $1 locker hire.

My issue now is that the short term locker hire has been raised to $2... I could afford the $1 but considering how often I visit I will pay 2x my pass cost on lockers this financial year Registered a formal complaint with Guest Services but never heard back from the appropriate manager

^ Have you seen everything VRTP are doing at the moment and you think Sea Viper has "not been fixed" due to budget issues? It also would not surprise me even when it reopens if it closes after a while.

I think they should extend the opening hours during the Summer Holidays but as somebody else mentioned in another thread have themed night events around once a month. The other benefit to the park if they are open later a heap of families will purchase dinner

^^ The situation was this, he was let go on wednesday and I was informed by trusted people but asked not to mention it until such a time that Goldie or the park released it. TZA/TZI posted it yesterday prior to Goldie officially announcing it and as such I sent the owner a message basically saying I have no right to ask you do so but for Goldie's sake please remove it as it is not yet public info. I cannot speak for any other pages but I am 19 I am certainly already able to vote, age is not always an accurate indication of maturity, I am trying to raise the level of these pages. I personally never try to "one up" and if I have an issue with something I do send private messeges. Also whilst the Facebook pages can be childish as hell, so can Parkz. ^ Never ending cycle

At this stage I think WWW serves it's purpose as a supplement to Dreamworld, I don't think it was ever made to compete seriously with WNW.

I wouldn't assume no higher tier will be offered, they know they have fans that will happily pay a premium for a few benefits.

I would read this as there are benefits yet to come... Technically it has been relaunched as that URL was used ages ago, good to see it back in use and with the VIP Pass ads both in print and their TVC's.

^ I originally had the same view as you before I thought about it... Last year when the price rose $10 and they did not offer the Buy 3 Get 1 Free they saw a large drop in families renewing as such they then started offering Buy 3 Get 1 Free. I also see it as a very smart move allowing anybody with a previous VRTP pass the renewal price to entice those that have not held a pass recently to renew. I am fairly confident we will see another "premium vip" pass offered soon. VRTP's strategy at present seems to be to give away the gate and make money on food/bev and retail/upcharges. It seems to be working well for them or they would have raised the pass cost.

I am a former Platinum Pass holder and purchased a new pass for $110ish late last year for entry until Nov12 the best part is because I purchased through RACQ it has early entry . My view is the prices are perfectly fine as long as they are under $200. The problem is the general public "devalued" the value of entry when the VIP Pass and subsequent DW passes were issued. I paid $300 for a MyFun Mega Pass for 12months of entry, if prices like that resurfaced nobody would visit. I agree with Brad however at this stage Dreamworld have no real incentive to visit for "Thrill Seekers".

^ Strongly disagree. I would consider the "Buy 3 Get 1 Free" the exciting offer despite the fact it does not apply to you. If memory serves correctly it was a 10% offer they gave me to renew my "MyFun Mega Pass". Wisely I did not and the original QLD VIP was released A one day adult entry is now $79.99 so you may as well renew online for the extra $10...

Very nice! haha, however I have to point out Skull Rock was replaced with Robina Hood and I doubt it would be as many as six sessions
