I would assume it is an oversight that their are no VIP offer/pdfs listed for this month. That said I also think that currently it appears the only perk guaranteed for the new round of Gold Passes is FN/WC. The new Pass is being advertised with the http://www.themeparks.com.au/ url that redirects to http://myfun.com.au/vip-pass.aspx with the price and details of upcoming attractions.

Nope, I would assume it is not going to return, one of the cars had the audio switched on (with the key) however it appeared to be disabled somewhere else.. I have heard it was causing faults/issues, although I have no idea how true that is.

Rode today, seemed slower around the first corner/after drop, also smoother breaking. The big improvement however is the restraints now release themselves when you return to the station, rather than you having to "scoop" them up.

^ TZA are being silly, I suspect they are simply speculating. During the downtime improvements were to be made to the ride to make it smoother, I would hazard a guess the altered programming has perhaps caused some issues...

I have ridden GL many times and would say roughly 1/5 rides have had audio. You can check the back of the car before riding if possible to see if the key switch is even in the on position...

I didnt ask.... I find GL's audio to be inconsistant but still present.

They were released last year at the same time as the normal VIP if I recall correctly. I would find it very odd if they do not offer Gold VIP's to new purchases. This entire launch is very odd with the new pass just showing up on the Box Office and no real promotion/PR release.

I do not always agree with the "Community Leaders" on Parkz but they have every right to give their opinions/counter yours on the Arkham Asylum Coaster. The few days of maintenance on Arkham did not alter the ride experience whatsoever... I would have to agree the lap bars on Arkham can be more painful than the Wipeout, however certainly not bad enough to not consider riding. I often hear guests in the park commenting on how much of an improvement Arkham was over Lethal.

I just have to say I agree with joz and DJRappa. I have ridden Arkham since soft openings and would hazard a guess probably had the most rides of these forums. I rode approx 10 times this morning and had no headache/dizziness/anything. Yes slight leg discomfort which can depend on how much it tightens during the ride and how tight you pull it down to begin with.

So I got a call today offering to renew my VIP Gold for 2012/13 for $89, confirmed it still includes FN/WC... They are calling me back on monday (as I was busy)

As am I especially after riding today... The ride is still a little rough but with nothing to bash your head on it is fine..

I just looked it up.... "Australian Amusement and Recreation President Tony Lines said" so not a VRTP spokesperson Basically until the stage where VRTP announce the new attraction it all remains speculation...

Arkham does not have audio as of yet.. I visited for a couple of hours yesterday

Sea Viper is closed due to many fractures in the track, as simple as that.. If you visit the park you can see repairs have been undertaken in several spots and many still to be done.

I think DJ has to be very careful in regards to what he posts... As I am not a VRTP employee I do not Removal of theming ect. began a week or two ago from what I have heard and possibly some planes/missiles where headed down Smith St (I am not 100%). It makes sense for them to be removing theming whilst SV is down.

I am very impressed with VRTP's spending/choices over the last few years especially whilst maintaining the cheap VIP passes. That said can anybody think of where VRTP may have been able to pickup some cheap dinosaures on the coast...
