Unfortunately I had to leave after the online media event (that no photos were allowed at) however soft openings are apparently happening at MW today so photos should not take long to crop up... EDIT: Being iMessege'd photos and they are being uploaded now

Having seen the que theming this morning I am very impressed. After entering under Arkham Asylum archway you pass a guard desk with a guard with a tv on his head (like in the FN maze) showing a news report. Then past cells of Arkham inmates. They are appropriately themed eg. ice on Mr Freeze. You also pass some bubbling green toxic material before heading up the ramp, you see a guard hanging from the rafters, and hear themed announcements with Harley and The Joker saying no loose items ect.

Some of it is certainly licensed as I have heard some of it on a late night informercial

^^ ^ Whilst capacities greatly differ in my opinion you can compare them as Fast Track is a similar system (paper based not requiring a Q-bot) GL does not require a wait, unless there is a backlog of Fast Track users. My views on the system observed today, including a scan of a "Fast Track" Ticket.

Arkham will not have this trial implemented I can assue you. Q-bots will not work well at Movie World with the loose item policy, with the proper infrastructure and limits like Disney's Fastpass it will work well. The trial will last all these holidays and it is not currently planned to be a paid system.

Have heard from several people that a system simliar to FastPass will be trialled at Movie World during these holidays possibly starting tomorrow. No infrastructure will be installed for this trial, rides included in the trial will be the main coasters (SE, GL and Scooby). Apparently it also will be free! (at least for this trial)

I have done several head on's with friends at DW and MW so they dont kick you out recently anyway

^ It wouldn't surprise me if they leave China Town and open the ride with that entrance blocked off.

Early April means anytime from tomorrow, I would hazard a guess sometime early next week. Depending on how quickly they get remaining work done.

It is the same show as posted above, I took the photo shown on Outsiders Facebook however shortly after I took that they announced no photos/video of the show itself as it was a preview. The show went off without a hitch and works much better than the video posted above did, possibly due to the small stage and better lighting.

The ride is not fenced off, when I visited the ride was "blocked" with a sign infront of the stairs (from Jet Rescue, unsure on other entrance)

I posted some shots of the construction as of yesterday, my favourites are of Gingy on top of the Kite Flyer and the former Kite Flyer seating area Everything looks fairly complete, "Mad Jungle Ram" was having a lot of work done yesterday and Dronkey Flyers is yet to have Dronkeys attached..

Vomitron, Slingshot and the mini golf course is still there.. This reminds me I have some photos I took at night I should upload of the area that held the bungy/skyhawk under removal

They were only uploaded yesterday hence why they are shown there, possibly Movie World testing out some images for timeline covers? not sure abut Shrek 4D tho. As for the photos 2,3 and 4 they are showing the same emergency exit on the side of the building. Although it was used as a temporary entrance for awhile whilst the current entrance was under construction.

I also was under that impression until I read the terms and conditions... Well the TOT 2 private launch event if memory serves was the day before Screamworld when the first public riders experienced TOT 2. GL had soft openings prior to official public launch but they were not publicised nor on the park map Unlike the opening date of the DreamWorks Experience that has been heavily publicised (including on bus shelter advertising along the Gold Coast Highway)

Interesting you should mention that, look closely in the photo taken this morning at SW This morning Sea Viper was having some work done to the track..

If memory serves correctly he said "no plans at this stage" RR only runs with two trains during school holidays/peak periods Depending on the popularity of the "new coaster experience" I could see them ordering an additional train for peak periods, with the DC licensing and lack of something to bash your head on I can see Arkham being fairly popular.

No, photos were prohibited.... 3 Facebook pages attended (no idea how many were invited), no tv/print media. We were given a briefing on the ride, then a tour of the trains in the maintenance bay. No photos were allowed as the trains were not complete at that stage (no shock head thingy/arkham logo) and we were under embargo until the public release at 10AM on that saturday. I dont think they will care about your opinion that much

I know people in MW's PR and they certainly are not... I would hazard a guess one or two may even visit this website..
