  1. I just did a small post on the SAW maze and hopefully will have a interview with Lynton Harris soon. Anybody else agree that MW have created a solid foundation for next year
  2. I know Oakley Creek Farm show is being expanded....
  3. Whilst I am sure some guests enjoyed it, everyone I spoke to thought it was more a tacky "circus" act, I mean sticking your tongue into a moving fan, walking on knives ect.. It was not up to the standards of Moto X, The Offering or even Thriller Dance in my opinion.
  4. I agree it should stay at Wet N Wild, but Sea World does need something for the former location of the Pirate Ship. Just like Eureka at Dreamworld a common comment I hear from guests is "where is the pirate ship".
  5. Went again for the final night last night, was not very busy and the mazes were pretty much a walk on, seemed to be even more scare actors roaming the streets ect. Best part was I managed to go behind the scenes of Saw and even enter the bathroom and have a fairly long chat with Lynton Harris. They have really built a solid foundation for next year, I just hope they do not bring back the "Freak Show", only real negative of the night.
  6. I am going to make a guess it is just matinence... Bermuda Triangle did not list a end date originally for its scheduled matience and now does
  7. Remember the Roulette Wheel? Now Stingray
  8. I would suggest heading to SAW first, then Freddy and get the "best" done as soon as you enter the park, Saw is out near WWF so is the shortest que at opening.
  9. I noticed heaps more scare actors and small refinements since I went on the first night, was Journey open the first friday/cheap night? I cant remember it being open.
  10. What has changed/improved with Scooby? Went last night, huge lines for Saw especially the line went back to the WWF entry. JTTCOTE was open too to help with numbers I guess.
  11. For some photos check out my trip repor, some more on my Flickr too.
  12. I am not sure if this is for all pass holder renewing or what the eligibility is apart from it is being offered to those with the $99 pass expiring on various dates in October and also December 24. I got this offer in park and it has 10% off Merch also.
  13. ^ Yep.... Can anybody offer a "review" on The Offering, (the only thing I missed). Will be heading back on the 23rd...
  14. Agreed, I have poor Optus reception throughout the Park, Rail Station and BP. Also dont worry about a big building or anything guys, it might not even have a building. I have seen Telstra cell "Towers" attached to street light poles.
  15. Wow, sounds interesting (and needs to be added to the Parkz DB). Did it operate until the opening of Marvin in 1997?
  16. I was hoping somebody knows more info on this, it was showing at Roxy prior to Marvin the Martin in 3D. Which opened in 1997. In my opening brochure for MW it states the following..
  17. What kind of facility is it/link? If it improves the coverage I get with Optus at Dreamworld I am all for it
  18. I agree with joz, I went tonight and his post sums up my thoughts well too.. I hit Saw first, then Moto X and a little of the Freak Show, Then Freddie and lastly Physco... Missed out on seeing "The Offering", Will likely go another night if I can get some friends.. Some photos are up on Flickr.
  19. Did not realise it was so hard to type "Fright Nights" in the facebook search box Argh, you found my not so hidden flickr, those pics are due to hit a post tonight.
  20. For those that have not seen the entrance, posted a shot on the Fright Night Facebook.
  21. EDIT: Post is up http://gcguy.net/2010/09/23/exclusive-movi...what-to-expect/
  22. ^ I know, have had some fun with that I have personally ridden Battle Sails almost a dozen times already , last time I was on the bouy was not working at all.
  23. More themeing has been added since opening, will be visiting tomorrow/photoing.. It now has targets, and if enough water hits them effects happen
  24. *This post is not taken from internal park info * The scaremaster behind Movie World Fright Nights is... *drum roll* Lynton V. Harris If you dont already recognise the name, visit http://www.suddenimpactentertainment.com/
  25. Was just looking for the MyFun passes and it looks like they have been "redone". All the Annual's are now $99 and it seems no longer includes any benefits eg. 10% off retail purchases ect. MyFun 2 Parks and 3 Parks are gone I am guessing a VIP pass "replaces them", anybody know how long this has been the case? Also Seaworld Dining Membership is cheaper and has changed.
