One of my main quip's with JL was how it felt like there was too much space around the vehicle, as opposed to SFoT, which is mostly narrow hallways and helps set the theme in a bit more. -

Bloody hell, still absolutely no Aquaman love? wouldn't be that hard to implement. On another note, Herald look amazing. -

A few years ago i started brainstorming on how a Mad Max ride could be properly implemented, and what i had thought of originally, was an Interceptor suspended below a single rail moving through scenes and sets. But reading through this, another idea i came up with was an Italian Job/Backlot Stunt Coaster esque ride. And in terms of how to pull off a maze correctly, a walk through or by the Thunderdome just as a fight is finishing with the victor then chasing you like Norman at Universal could work well. And if they're willing to go the extra mile for that extra Holy Shit! moment, a car crashing through the wall will do wonders. -

Birdo is who/what he's talking about. -
I just went digging, and on the Wiki page for the movie it says that filming was done in Georgia. And so with that i found this; http://3.bp.blogspot.com/--BE_j4jlYs4/Tm0cI3c-mLI/AAAAAAAAPAg/lP4Nq14rA-I/s1600/SFOG1.jpg

I know that, last time i was there prior to last year was 2006. Back when CNCB was still there, so that's what im basing it off.

Is that the shop that was by the dolphins and ended up housing the arcade games and the likes? Wasn't it a cartoon network gift shop?

Tower of Terror Original, will it ever return?

In theory the corrugation of the metal around the tunnel should suppress the noise like a sound proof room. -
My expectancy of theming never came from storm, in fact for about 6 years (3 QLD trips) I went to dreamworld only, and only rode basically non themed things. And I was still expecting more from Storm. I think it stems from my ability to never be properly immersed by things. And the hallway i'm talking about is leading up to the station from the main room in the queue. The walls suggest you're flat, but the floor says otherwise.

So about a month ago i made the trip to Movieworld for the first time since probably '08, and actually rode things. But there were a few things that just seemed a bit 'off', coming from a first time rider of the following: Scooby- Great ride for starters, but i was just expecting a little more from the movie in the ride, and something better from the queue. And even more from the station (I felt that Sea Viper had a better station.). In Youtube videos, you don't see the queue or station in any i've watched, so i went into it with higher expectations after just coming off JL. It's just a room with a fountain, 2 projectors, and some moving knights. I was expecting a little more "magic" from what i'd heard on here. Although the hallway illusion was fantastic in how it messed with me. The station i was expecting was more or less along the station i saw in the movie, and not a room with lack of life. While it was a bit disappointing seeing TPR's video, as it had practically nothing in the way of the movie, i came to expect a bit more. The ride was great, and the last room, video's don't do justice. Justice League- Speaking of justice, the scale of the first room is amazing, and probably the only ride i've been on where seeing the roof didn't actually detract from the ride itself. Videos or this too don't do justice, but it would have been nice to see a little more work put in to blur the real and fiction line. I'm also not quite a fan of the lack of sole JL characters. i.e. While Aqua man isn't the most appealing character, he IS the Captain America of DC. and even seeing Martian Manhunter and the like would have been nice too. Wild West- Amazing. Can't fault this too much; Apart from the major plot hole, the entire out door section. And even having a graphic to some degree in the last room would have been better. It's also nice to ride 2 water rides (Storm) and have other people who got soaked look at you like a god when you get off without a single drop. Rio- While a bit jumpy, this is how you put on a show without a stage. The 3D was EXTREMELY well done, coming from someone obsessed with the matter. Parade- There was an extreme lack of interactivity. And Victor Fries float. Batman basically brushed people off. Meanwhile Sylvester was really playful, and Bonnie and Clyde did really well in interacting with people and still keeping character right before their show. Intencity- Potato. Superman- I also went into this expecting a bit more, and that's coming from someone who despises him. While i get its 'rapid' transit, i was honestly expecting the pre-launch to be a bit slower, and the nice view of the roof, and the smell of water, were a nice touch to dampen a really well made ride. Arkham- While i didn't actually ride this, I did walk through the queue, and i was both blown away while still being underwhelmed. And having the theme get less and less as you move closer to the old entrance/viewing platform also dampened things a tad. Stuntdriver: Non Peak Edition- Potato. All in all, good but not great. And most of this probably stems from me being the hardest person to visually fool. As i always tell people who ask why i never really get into the atmosphere of things, is: "The best kind of effect is one that fools Sherlock Holmes".

Wow. No. The game and ride do, but don't mix. If it's just getting a name and car change, there really isn't much point.

No, they made a movie based off the concept of the land.

Alright, so my friend has asked me to join in on a EuroTrip in a few years and while we're planning, we're matching places together that we both want to go to. As someone with little to no interest in europe, can you please list out places to go? I'm after mainly parks, and zoo's, but other little goodies would be nice too. There will be the staple parks visited like Alton and Asterix aswell. Country list: Iceland UK Ireland Netherlands Austria Romania Greece Germany Italy Sweden Denmark Norway And France
