Certainly Adam, next Boxing Day or before, perhaps. I'm glad the snake didn't keep people away. Poor Mark must be busy. -

Okay, I can confirm that I was in the cabana next to you. Just saw my snake footage on Seven news. -

Wow, that snake story has legs. It's been picked up by WA Today, Perth Now and 9 News. http://www.watoday.com.au/wa-news/snake-takes-unauthorised-dip-at-adventure-world-evacuates-pool-20151227-glvcq8.html http://www.perthnow.com.au/news/western-australia/snake-goes-swimming-in-adventure-world-pool/news-story/92ecfdc6b83405b358a162352a44a845 https://www.facebook.com/9NewsPerth/?fref=ts -

Must have been right next door to you, Adam. Already had the cabana booked and decided on the Fastpass wristbands after seeing how crowded the car park was at 9am. Yeah, that snake in the pool video has notched up 80 000 hits so far. Also caught the kids' show. The dragons now talk and sing (their part appears to be pre-recorded). Their costumes have changed too. -

*Canned laughter* Thankfully Freefall is out of peaches now. There was a guy climbing it earlier and then it was testing. Couldn't believe how quickly they caught the snake. https://www.facebook.com/1658316444399226/videos/1796426193921583/?theater Great to see that Adventure World has made some efforts to help the climb up the hill with the paving, some shade and a water station. -

Still pretty busy. Saw some of Mark's team members remove a snake from the pool. Freefall was testing later on. -

Busy day in the park, today. Freefall is not functioning and it looks like the chairlift is only starting now. Got a cabana and fast passes. The fast pass queue on the Kraken is very efficient, less so for the mat rides and the tunnel of terror. The white paint on the hill isn't that good at keeping feet cool, but it looks like they're putting up some netting, so that might help. Wait time for Abyss is about 5-10 minutes in the normal queue. -

Depends if it was a full Disneyland park or not. -

USS has $188 annual season passes going down to $98 for six months. I don't think a lot of the locals could afford to go otherwise. -
We really appreciate your and your tram's efforts, Richard. Without Parkz, the Australian theme park community would be a truly fractured beast. I've been reading Parkz from its Rollercoaster.com.au origins. It's been great since Adventure World stepped up its game that we can contribute something back to the site from out west. More power to you!

Anyone catch the segment on Good Game about 'Zero Latency', virtual reality centre in Melbourne? There's also an international franchise called 'The Void' that looks pretty similar. It seems ironic that we've just lost our first generation of virtual reality parks and then this comes along. Looks exciting, has anyone tried it? http://www.abc.net.au/tv/goodgame/ https://www.zerolatencyvr.com/

Was the dinosaur anything like this one I saw at USS recently? MVI_6804.MOV

Is this like Voldemort - you say his name often enough and he returns? Trespass anything good, lately, Andrew? -

On the whole, they've been pretty specific about that procedure. -
Thanks for the pics, Alex. Looks like Freefall is back up at Adventure World.

Xscape at the City had its media day, today. There has been lots of local coverage. The pop up park features the world's tallest inflatable water slide. http://www.xscapeatthecity.com.au/

Yeah, I like it the way it is too. I've seen calls for single riders and pairs under the current system, when it's busy, and it works fine. Don't forget Kraken has a weight limit. I'm sure there'll come a time when AW will have a ride where they can have a single rider queue. Can't wait for that! -
30 years ago, today, since the original opened. Interesting comments.. https://m.facebook.com/Wonderland-Sydney-364392660248657/

Great to hear, Dave. I hope you can give us the heads up if anything big is about to be announced.
-
Yeah, I don't think you can knock someone for trying. Ammar has admitted they're not home and hosed. I don't think the original Wonderland was destined to fail - I think it was allowed to. There's every chance in the world that Adventure World in Perth wouldn't exist if it hadn't been for Steve Sicerich and Mark.

Best of luck, The Mousiah. Sydney deserves another full sized theme park that lasts longer than two years. If you build a great resort, we'll be there to support it. Regards to Ammar, he certainly is a determined character.
