  1. Come on, if MW can be held responsible because they got some kid "too excited" and he ran in the park and tripped over, SW would be accountable for this.
  2. ^ Seems like it would be better that way. Gazza, if you're the one on here who has access to it, how about a nearmap shot of the park to give him something more up to date than google maps to work with?
  3. You son of a ........ haha. I'd say Arkham. In other news I actually bought RCT3 on steam just now
  4. Not everyone though. A lot of people see the gate and think, ok, I'm not allowed to go that way, I should take the other path.
  5. Or, you know, maybe, as discussed millions of times on here, it's to filter the people past the food, games, retail area of the park so they're likely to spend more money.
  6. What about some videos of the rides? Or are you only doing just enough for the screen shots?

  8. This is 2013! How dare you apply reason and logic to a situation!!!!
  9. This I know is not likely to ever happen, but again, this thread is "what you would do" so.... If it were up to me, I'd retheme Vikings Revenge. Including the castle. To fit it into the storm theme, I'd replace the current boats with cut open shipping containers (albeit tiny ones), keep the concrete channel, replace the castle with a multi-purpose generic looking office type building you might see at a port. The idea behind the ride? You're in one of the shipping containers caught up in the storm and blowing away up onto the building before crashing back down to the ground again. Maybe speed up the water a bit too.
  10. What?! I demand you have this finished tomorrow! As an added challenge though, make the "Looney Tunes Driving School" that never was.
  11. It's missing something. .....vendor carts everywhere. And there doesn't seem to be a single A-Frame sign in sight! Otherwise, it looks great, what are you using to do it?
  12. Can you please make your posts readable? A little formatting goes a long way. So organized coach loads of 50 people will be turned away? The key word here being "organised". They would contact the park, say "hey, we're bringing a bus of 50 people to the park today, please reserve that amount of room for us to attend". Done Again I ask "single day admission ticket holders is it for a certain day"? *Looks at name of website* Nope, still on Parkz.com.au, not Wet N Wild's website. I'm sure if was not officially school holidays as it was on the 17th a day were some schools had broken up and some hadn't, very busy that day and a school coached turned up from Newcastle with 50 students eager to get wet and the full house sign was up, and they got turned away you would see the school featured soon on some current affairs show. Maybe. Those shows will bitch about anything and everything. Doesn't mean it's the parks' fault though. There's a safety cap for a reason. As it is soon we'll probably be seeing posts on here saying "oh noes the park is too full and it's busy and the lines were long, etc" Coach charters are 1200 plus per day for 8 hrs Cool story bro.
  13. Attempting to format this so it's readable.... 1: I would hope so. Why should you be treated any better/differently to any other person that wanted to get in that day? If the park is at capacity, then it's at it's safe capacity (debatable if that's already too many people). It's not at "safe capacity + room for 24 more people who may or may not have traveled some distance without thinking the park may get full". 1a: If anything, they should laugh at your demands for such compensation. So you would have failed to think the park could reach capacity, failed to make a simple phone call to check, decided out of your own free will to drive for 2 hours only to then somehow blame management for your lack of preparation? What's wrong with you? 2: That's a shame. If only there was some form of water-based entertainment in other parts of the country, or even some way you could strap yourself into a large, possibly metal contraption, travel at great velocity through the skies before returning to the ground and completing the rest of the journey in some other human transport device back to the park. 3: Should they? Sure, why not? Should any person with an interest in theme parks be invited to join this forum? Sure, why not? Should there be any one person tasked with sending said invites? No. It's a free country (mostly) and anyone is free to invite anyone anywhere. .....so feel free to invite an employee to the site, or just wait for some of the existing ones to speak.....or you know, call them, speak to them via social media, email them, ask in person next time you're there.....
  14. Must we bring up this debate EVERY time someone mentions MDMC. Read the bloody thread title again!!!! If YOU could give any ride a retheme/renovation... It's not - "What should dreamworld do about this"
  15. It's only open til 8:30? It's hardly even dark by then (ok, sure a bit of an exaggeration, but still)
  16. Fair enough, that's where the confusion was coming from. Sure, they're here to stay (sadly). Can't say I've ever seen any of them being used in any of the parks. (With the exception of the actual arcade - if it's still there - at Dreamworld). IMO they'd be better off with an extra food stall or merch site. That way they'll probably rake in a bit more cash.
  17. While I agree with the rest of this, one thing none of the parks need is more bloody arcade/skill/fair games.
  18. I kind of want to reinstall rct but I've got so much other stuff to play, plus I just got my ps4, plus I'm building an arcade cabinet, plus theme park studio isn't too far off, but these pics are really making me want to play it again.
  19. Coolies, welcome back then. I'd have to agree with you on this one. With the games due to start in April, if it were up to me, I'd bring in 1-2 smaller attractions (or re-theme some existing ones) between now and 2017, then open a new, large attraction in September 2017. This way there is constant interest in the park with a spike at the end of 2017 with enough time to iron out all the bugs before the mass increase of people in 2018 for the games.
