I think it's great. It reminds me of the great alien invasion at the Phillip island Moto GP in 2003. Happy to see such fond memories captured in VR and fits the theme really well.

Can we all just agree to disagree here? Were just going around in circles and it's unlikely anyone is going to change their opinions.

I'd say they're quite quickly overshadowing them really. Just look at the additions and changes to both parks overall.

I thought it was more they didn't want people casing the joint to break in later. Not likely an issue for MW. I'm not trying to dispute it, just curious the reasoning.

I understand the no photos of the theming thing. I really can't understand the no photos inside the shop thing though? The theming can be justified, but can you think of any reason to do with the shop? It's open to the public anyway. Maybe there's a miscommunication around don't take photos of the area?

Do you want to shell out the licensing cost for them?

Boxes beside the ride. Load seems reasonable given it's still in rehearsals. Can't really judge that until it's actually open.

Not sure if this is new, but with the reopening of TI, something seems to have popped up on the bottom of the list. Edit: there's a few other things to take away from this. > There's only 1 log left in Rocky Hollow, and it's no longer a ride. You can just queue to look at a log. > DW don't know what their "Escape To/From Madagascar" ride is called.

"Best improperly classified high thrill coaster that really should be marketed as a family attraction" just missed out on being a category, along with "Best indoor coaster that still requires just a few more lasers to be perfect again".

Here's a quick vid from today. You can also see about 45 seconds into the video people were being told not to take photos of the incomplete area/over the fence as they don't want to have it seen before it's ready. I'd read that as the same way Disney doesn't want their back of house seen - DC might not be too happy if an incomplete area was visible and there was construction rubbish or something that made the area look unclean.

I'll do a proper review later on, but I must say, Dreamworld really need to invest in some of this stuff. https://www.bunnings.com.au/our-range/brands/c/croc-grip They managed to do it with the stairs at the front of the park, they really need to do it on Tiger Island. Who really thought that rounding off the edges of the stairs and painting them with slippery paint and having a very badly slippery ground was a good idea? I saw 4 people slip over on the stairs today and one person slip over on a ramp and require medical attention. Not a great look for opening day. I'd like to think if I went back in 1-2 weeks that this would be rectified though, otherwise I'd have to strongly recommend you avoid using the stairs in the rain and elderly people should avoid it all together in wet weather. Anyway it's not all bad news, the area looks great.
