  1. Not a guess at the actual ride but just something cool - Someone posted this the other night - but this would have been pretty cool to have in keeping with the western theme. http://www.intaminworldwide.com/amusement/RoundRides/Drunken+Barrels/tabid/141/ProductNumber/Drunken+Barrels/language/de-DE/Default.aspx
  2. Jamaican jerk just sounds so wrong
  3. Nah come to think of it, for an Aussie park, 36pph is pretty good
  4. Hold up Mr Fancy Font..... Is 36 people really a high-cap ride? Also for some reason I keep thinking it's going to be some kind of spinning cups ride. No idea where I got that idea from but I just keep coming back to it. Interesting to see how they theme the land back there if it's not going to be western anymore.
  5. There are certain ways to get his attention. You should have explained you were asking the question while walking through a dark ride.
  6. This seems to be a PDA online
  7. I enjoyed it in the few times I went to Sydney. 1 - I like monorails, 2 - it was something different. It is a shame it's gone, but the cost of riding it and the cost to maintain it were ridiculous. edit - to clarify, yes, I'm backing your argument
  8. I want to believe, but you seem to be contradicting yourself sometimes.
  9. Somehow missed your reply til now, and turns out I can't read wikipedia correctly either Although, I was going by this reading that as it wasn't actually called the Sunlander until 1953. Actually - from QR Maybe I was right
  10. So you worked at WWW, then did a 3 month stint at WnW before returning to WWW/DW? Why the short term change in companies? or was that a typo?
  11. What if they tinted the windows and called it a dark ride?
  12. Pretty sure that has just been storage since DS was built?
  13. Welcome to the great gate debate of 2013-14
  14. Nah @The_Ninja_59 It's the one Razz explained. Haven't been to the park since FN so I didn't recognise it. It's been a couple of years since I was there in the daylight.
  15. ^ First image - has the wall always been like that on the right? (Where you can see beams and stuff)
  16. Your keyboard does have one of these, doesn't it?
  17. That prayer room seems like someone will find it offensive. It seems way too half assed.
  18. If all this is true, this would be my guess. The area in red forming the whole tiger island setup (how that would be broken down I'm not sure) with the blue representing the entrances. The yellow could form a new store OR, the blue near the yellow wouldn't exist as an entrance, and instead would be the rear of the exhibit with the kevil entry now forming a new shop/staff area.
  19. Why would you want them to spend several million on relocating a ride instead of buying a new one. Just think how long the empty space will then have to sit there because they wasted their capital on pointlessly moving the ride. Best case scenario for it will be to get a cohesive theme in that area where it is now, then buy a couple of new trains for it matching the new theme.
  20. Why? It wasn't a dark ride. There was a pole just beside the lake on both sides, but never in the water.
  21. Yeah. How dare they have accurate theming!
  22. Thanks for the update What's the screen thing beside the coaster? I'm guessing with the sign (that we finally know has hooks!) it's in preparation for a change to a daily menu special later maybe?
  23. V8 supercars themed lazer shooting game zone with turbines.
  24. Should have typed it all in caps so they knew he was serious about getting the info. I mean if he's making the effort to hold down the shift key, they can make the effort to give him the answer.
  25. ^ >Has a "real passion" for steam locos >Has a username of a service that's only ever run on diesel locomotives Couldn't you have chosen "Puffing Billy" or something?
