  1. It still doesn't make any sense the way it reads. What your post was saying is that because this is the first WC here that it's going to have extra problems not faced in other parts of the world (according to your post above in reply to AlexB). Why would that be correct? Why would a coaster in Australia magically develop faults that they don't experience overseas just because it's the first of its kind in Australia? The part about a new attraction having teething problems is correct, but not what you've typed originally.
  2. I just checked the last remaining backup I had of my old RCT stuff and unfortunately it's not there sorry. This site however is the one I usually get CS from. Also I think I linked the wrong ride car before the one that's there now uses the invisible track.
  3. Now I don't mean this in a bad way, but, you're unemployed aren't you? I mean you're clearly putting a lot of time and effort into this, I just can't see any other way you could get it done. I'm impressed regardless. As for the dark ride, I remember using these cars and I have an idea where I got the scenery from. I'll have a look after I cook dinner and see what I can find for you.
  4. Since we can't see it now.... *like*
  5. I'd try here for photos first http://www.parkz.com.au/photos/AU/Gold_Coast/Warner_Bros_Movie_World/282-Superman_Escape/ but you may just have to get some from the park. Don't know how you'd do that since they're past the "no loose items" zone. telephoto lens? (TPS beta should be in January)
  6. I'd appreciate it if you did prove me wrong! Also as for feedback - those stairs just seem to look a little bit too high. There's online like 4 or 5 stairs and a small ramp along there. Most likely a game limitation though. Finally, have you seen this coming out around may next year? http://www.themeparkstudio.com/
  7. Looks good, but I can see this going the way of ever other recreation anyone has done on this forum of late....
  8. Having not been to dw in ages, do they still have the themed toilets? Or have they all changed to normal ones? I can't even remember where sea worlds toilets are come to think of it apart from the ones under the monorail station. The ones at mw are old but usually clean. I have always found wnw to smell too much like someone has just pissed all over the floor instead of in the toilet. Don't remember www toilets. What's wrong with that? :-P
  9. So, for those times you're at a park and need to dispatch the log ride, which park would you rate as having the best amenities on the Gold Coast, and why?
  10. I have ad block on so I couldn't tell you, but that's not surprising since they're called 'targeted ads' for a reason.
  11. Have to admit, that's pretty damn tame. What makes Bussy so special the he can't be questioned?
  12. ^ just check the exif data on the shot. I just got a 18-270 so that will cover them easily plus the shutter goes to something ridiculous like 1/8000, but I wouldn't be taking my tripod. Now, do I renew the MW pass or check out DW for once.
  13. It's in the latest ad on TV I believe.
  14. Hmm... I did just buy a new camera. Maybe I should go back to check this out.
  15. Just putting my 2c in, my first thought when seeing the ads was this as well. No idea if it would fit or work or whatever, haven't looked at anything but the ads.
  16. Not really, I just used those as pictures of cyclone damage, didn't find a cyclone damaged container port within 5 seconds so I gave up. wait - found some -will update post
  17. It's been hit by a cyclone.... did you expect neat and tidy? Which of these settings fits the theme more? Option 1: Option 2:
  18. So basically it's just Showtime's normal set, but at Movieworld. Do they even involve the Evo's?
  19. It's not about them needing a B&M as the realists know that's never happening. It needs to keep the whole park open all day and get some management that actually likes theme parks.
  20. Awesome shots, thanks for sharing them
  21. How? Did they not stop down the road at Movieworld?! http://www.goldcoastbulletin.com.au/news/gold-coast/gold-coast-theme-park-dreamworld-wins-top-queensland-tourism-award/story-fnj94idh-1226766393275
  22. TOT1 - Slowed down a lot about 3 quarters along the flat before slowly rolling up the hill a little bit then being towed back to the station. That's the only malfunction I've been on.
  23. I wouldn't say given up, but there hasn't been anything done in the last 5 or so years that's really made me want to go to the park. Maybe one day though.
