New 4D Movie at Movieworld
This isn't all that unreasonable. Quick pricing now.... (ignoring quality, just picking products at random) TV - 55" LED LCD - $900 JB HI-FI Sound - BluRay $440 JB HI-FI Fog machine - ~$100 various sites Strobe lights - $25 DSE Any couch with one of these awesome things (I have a computer version for my chair) - Thanks to our lovely over the top prices - $800 All up you'd be looking at around $2500 which is a lot but considering what you get isn't too bad. Only thing to do would be program yourself something to control the fog and strobe for when you need it. Oh and find a movie that would make anything but the tv, sound and buttkicker worthwhile.

New 4D Movie at Movieworld
Since this is designed for a 4D theatre, this is an excellent addition especially since winter is just around the corner

I do vaguely remember smelling something, but I've also seen the show overseas so I can't remember which I was thinking of.

New 4D Movie at Movieworld
How is this in anyway a marketing nightmare? If trolling, well played, if not, wtf? I take it you work must work at the park if you know that "obviously isn't going to happen" Why would 2 attractions be so bad together? "Come on in to the new Justice League Adventure ride and once you're done there, head on over to the Roxy theatre and check out the new Justice Leage 4D movie!" Maybe I should get a career in marketing hey? That was pretty straight forward. I hope that it's not just JTTCOTE2 as the first one for me felt too rushed. Shrek I was willing to see multiple times, JTTCOTE was once, and that was bad enough.

New 4D Movie at Movieworld
^ I have to agree with that, apart form the movies specifically designed as 3D films (mostly only found at theme parks it seems*), not the normal movies they've converted to 3D. *Avatar was the only movie I can think of which was actually filmed in 3D

Cyclone's Trains
Cyclone only has the 1 brake run into the station. That's why it's sometimes a bit rough coming around that last turn. I'm fairly certain I've been on it when they were using manual station brakes as it made it about half way into the station before the brakes engaged then it was a nice quick entry. 99% of the time though it goes in car by car. Maybe it's just because I haven't been there in ages but I swear those trains in that video look different around the head area. I don't remember those side panels. I'm really hoping DW are saving some cash for something decent soon, they're getting completely blown away by WVTP at the moment and for the foreseeable future.

At first I was thinking wow almost a month to change the reel on a projector?! Then I remembered the whole moving seat thing.

Cyclone's Trains
I don't think capacity is the issue. It's more of how slow the station parking is and how poorly the load/unload is handled. Every time I've been there it's taken about 3-5 mins from when the nose of the car first enters the station, to when the train reaches the chain. If they were to add a 2nd train, they would have to install the block brakes on that brake run section, but to do that they would also need to install a catwalk and stairs. Possible yes, but I can't see them focussing on a ride that old TBH

The Off Topic Topic
Ok, try this. I think this was the layout. I don't know where the other station was but the main one is in green. At the top of the map (resort) the big blue circle is where (I think) a water tank now sits. The old crossing near Dominos, I believe has been filled with concrete (Circled - and gates have been replaced with wooden fence) The sections between the blue lines are in pretty bad shape I think. Feel free to make corrections (Photo is 5mb by the way)

The Off Topic Topic
From memory, the fence is near JR and I think all the tracks are just gathering the normal dirt and stuff, nothing deliberate. (Although I don't remember stepping over tracks near Dominos

I quite like the cyclone trains and hope they don't change them

Seaworld Review 19/05/12
In regards to BT - Judging by the speed in which Green Lantern went up and the time they took with AAST I'd say yes they could easily finish it by Christmas and have whatever it is done rather well. My guess for the Dinosaurs (unless already confirmed elsewhere) would be Sept school holidays. If the games area you're talking about was over near Dominos then I can't say I took much notice of that area at all. We only walked past it once while we were headed elsewhere. I can't see the monorail needing an extra train, maybe some air con wouldn't hurt though. As for the train, while yes it would be possible, they would need to move a bunch of stuff (shipping containers, a water tank and a fence, to name a few) and clean out the tracks, and replace the gates which have been removed near Dominos, before it would be able to run anywhere. Can anyone who works at the park, or knows someone, whatever, confirm if they even have the train any more? Last time I was there (over a year ago) the train was parked in the tunnel under the sea lion show with the last carriage hanging out. This time that tunnel was closed and there was no train to be seen. While it is technically possible, I think we're more likely to see Dreamworld having bungee jumping from the TOT before the train toots on back into town.

Seaworld Review 19/05/12
Headed to Seaworld today, got in around 10 or just after. Entry was via the Paradise Room for passholders. Nice and quick. Immediately got a locker and headed to JetRescue while it was quiet. Got in 4 rides back to back before deciding to venture away. JR doesn't feel as fast as I remember it being, you do feel a good kick through the 2nd launch still though. There was very light mist at the tunnel exit. Noticed two things about the trains. 1 - the little black handles on the lap bars have all been removed. 2 - The 2nd train was missing a good 4 or 5 pairs of cars in the maintenance section. Couldn't see them anywhere, maybe off site. No pics of JR or SeaViper, but SV is still obviously closed with no signs of opening any time soon. The area under the ride is being used to store the planes from one of the kids rides and there is a bunch of construction stuff there too. While riding JR, so obviously no pics to show, but I can confirm BT has been/is in the process of being gutted. There was scaffolding inside and a whole lot of empty visible through a door that had been left open. Bermuda On to something new now. The Dinosaurs. Pretty sure we all knew this, but the lighthouse area is being used as the dinosaur area (didn't have my camera with me on the Skyway - which was running well btw) and there have been several new concrete slabs laid with at least one dinosaur already attached to one of them. I really hope they do something to hide the area, otherwise you'll be looking at Palm trees, dinosaurs, beach, which seems a bit silly to me. A long way to go on that yet though so let's just wait and see what happens. Scroll down to see close up pics of the new dinosaurs. (The closest I've seen posted so far anyway) The old entrance to the lighthouse The new Dinosaurs Lighthouse area Penguins. So interesting looking. Was my first time checking out Seaworld's exhibit, and I must say while it's good, it doesn't (for me) come close to comparing to Kelly Tarlton's in NZ. A good attempt, but looks just too fake. Penguins More Penguins Sky Climb and Paddle Boats were both free due to SV being down. Didn't try the boats at all, but the ropes course was good. Can't say I'd personally pay for it, but I can definately see many people would. (I'm a tight ass, what can I say?) Quite a nice view from the top of the Sky Climb too. Free you say? Sky Climb Didn't check out the Jet Ski show but the rehersals did look promising. Watched Imagine though. Still very entertaining and draws a crowd but IMO it's been running a while and since they're just trained dolphins, a few new tricks wouldn't hurt. Battle Boats looks all right but really could have used those islands they showed in the original plans. Also though it could have used some warm water to keep it available during winter. It was hot enough today for a few people to jump on after lunch but it was mostly running empty. Boats Finally, tried these new things (new to me at least) called Motza-sticks or something. Basically some really nice cheesey bread. That same stuff you can get from pizza hut in those dipper meals. (Damn it, foiled by the image post limit again) http://img.photobuck...0519_151110.jpg OK, now overall you might view this as a negative review, I want to clarify that it's NOT, we had a really good day and the overall experience was great. Oh, here's a random polar bear http://img.photobuck...0519_145135.jpg

Arkham Asylum: Shock Therapy (Lethal Weapon Retheme)
Whiplash - Injury caused by a severe jerk to the head, typically in a motor-vehicle accident Can cause headaches. You don't need to have hit your head on anything at all. But it's ok, it's just like my comments about the leg pain, everyone who has experienced it has obviously either been making it up or just riding it wrong, because you know, people on here know a lot more about you than you do.

Something new about to Hatch at SW?
Going to SeaWorld tomorrow, will get some pics if there is anything there

$39 VIP Locals Passes
Audio - It's hit and miss. I went one week and it was off, the week after it was working in some cars only. It's just dramatic music (or was when I went). The slow downs are just to stop the cars carrying too much speed along the track to keep them nice and seperate the same way Scooby will slow you down in certain points. How much varies on the weight in each car. Superman sign was changed a few weeks back. Used to be a generic justice league one before.

Consolidated "all my stuff in one place" thread. (RCT3)
All right, I figured I'd attempt a shooting dark ride. Well, I failed, but you can watch the result. I'm leaving the dark section as it is and will fix up the entrance and the building tomorrow.

looking for CS (rct3)
There was an object I had before I formatted which I didn't back up (as it didn't go into style/themed and I forgot it) where it replaced the normal wooden supports in game and made them more 3D looking. Does anyone happen to know what it is?

^ Speaking of that, wasn't it you months ago trying to arrange a trip? What ever happened to that?
