Eureka Mountain Mine Ride reopening discussion

How sad that you couldn't just say "haha", or "lol", or failing that, nothing at all! Merry Christmas anyway. -

Just saw this at Sea World and wondered if perhaps Eureka is being relocated here!!! -
I just haven't been able to justify the journey considering how few attractions Sea World now has. I am looking forward to the Christmas light show and Carnivale though.

and still it continues! I had hoped we might at least get a few weeks without the insults and offensive posts over the Christmas period.

Only the second time in 2017 actually for me.

I've just experienced "Sirens of the Sea" from the underwater viewing windows in Shark Bay. A fascinating idea but it would seem poorly executed. An audio recording was played for about 5 minutes which was very hard to hear but did mentionmermaids many times. I did wonder how they could safely have a mermaid in the water with sharks around, and thought perhaps the penguin area would have been a more suitable location. Anyway no mermaid was sighted by me at all. MaybeI was just very unlucky. Otherwise all "Sirens of the Sea" amounted to was as described above! Anyone else seen it?

I was just riding the Sea World monorail and as we passed the Sea Lion theatre staff were performing the new Sea Lion show without an audience. Rehearsal of course, but quite interesting and even a bit funny to observe.

Good to see they've at least managed to do exactly what they said and remove it by the end of the year. I'm assuming the rubble will be cleared very soon. It worries me that they thought they could save it when it was so obviously beyond repair. I'm also sorry to see they don't so far appear to have a clear plan for the site. -

Here's hoping it might be slightly longer thistime before graffiti reappears in the spooky corridor. Only took a couple of weeks last time it was repainted. -

Our role as guests is not to worry about the parks budgets etc, but just to express our thoughts and desires for what we want the parks to be in the future. Who makes that happen, and how, is none of our concern! -

Why waste your time with spreading nonsense like that? -

I have had one of those 1998 rather than 1996, but it certainly wasn't my first car. I'd have been over the moon if my parents had bought it for me!!! My first car was actually a 1975 Mazda 1300, which I had to save up for a long time to buy myself. Kids these days don't know they're born! Ok. So what's your answer to the question I posed, or to put it more specifically, what sort of attractions would you like to see that could use some of these effects? -

A quality attraction! I believe so yes. I'm just saying it's one of the numerous technologies that can be used. -

I've just realised that when I said "motion projection" in my earlier post, I should have said projection mapping. Whoops! -
The video below is one example of how recent technology advances have made possible a whole new level of immersion. Wouldn't it be wonderful is this quality of effects were used on Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster. There's holographic, motion projection, and of course virtual reality to make use of too. Of course VR is already in place at Arkham Asylum. Has anyone got any other ideas how these technologies could be implemented at Australias theme parks?

I went to Carnivale last year (as well as Dreamworlds Fire Machine numerous times). Personally I thought Carnivale was better suited to Sea World than Movie World.
