thats great news, At least we know they are actively trying to fix it. I always worry that things will just sit there and not get fixed, then just dissapear off the park maps.

my point is it seems to happen alot, I went down a couple of weeks back and it was down all day untill about 4pm when it suddenly opened. They just dont seem to be able to keep it open.

Its getting totaly out of hand. Park maps in pockets, I mean come on. Its funny here people are saying "well they have to make money" They have many places to make money. If they start charging for toilets I bet you would change your tune.

This is pretty good as the area needs something of a refresh but as theme park fans it wont really bring any excitement or something to keep going back for. Its all about the overseas tourists and it wont hurt local Aussies having a look as we all might learn something besides the native stereo types. All for it, good move Dreamworld.

I think whats annoying is that you pay a gate fee that entitles you to ride all the rides and then they have almost found a way to "charge" you to ride the ride with the lockers. The 100% increase is a punch in the face. Parks all over the world dont have to use this system. Universal, Disney, many Six Flags, Canadas wonderland, American Seaworld and many many other places I have been I have never had to use a locker, not once. And I was solo in all these parks with noone to hold anything for me.

well I hope this happens. I think we were all getting a bit worried about it not opening again

Movie World load times have become a joke. I was there the other day and the loading for AA and Batwing Spaceshot were a joke. It takes 2 people to load you. They do a pocket check and then the other person re-does the pocket check and then they check your harness only to have another person re-check your harness. Its over kill. 4 checks is too much. AA is just as bad having to wait for them to do every person up and again check from one person and a recheck again. Superman is not so bad with the checks but they just seem to take ages to get people on the ride, seated. locked in and then press the button. Scooby is the total other way. Quick load and a quick check. They even were letting people line up behind gates them self and no be counted into a place. I understand safety is priority but when you compare to parks around the world or even at Dreamworld its just soooooooooo long at movie world. Its starting to get on my nerves. Seriously the bat wing really annoyed me the other day. At one point the girl said "no paper in your pockets" Overkill.

God I hate people that do stuff like this. Common sence would tell me there is a chance I might not make it. The fact they have an escape shows they are well prepared. She is just a moron and I hope she loses her case.

I lost my shoe in the river riding the Captain Sturt way back in the 80's. Its a sad day to see it go but if it was in the name of progress I wouldnt mind. The probelm is its only going to be in the name of saving money. Thats a shame.

Mayby Dreamworld can open a sock puppet show to thrill the kids... No seriously though Dreamworld are starting to look rather rundown and are falling behind in a big way. Movieworld is adding quality rides while DW just sit back trying to do things on the cheap.
