  1. This probably could have been a new topic rather than digging up one that's 15 years old. Anyway. Which rides were closed?
  2. Kicking up a very old topic here, but I only just realised this even existed! Is there just an empty aquarium sitting inside that building now? Do you think it could be re-opened?
  3. I’ve heard from a very solid source it’s going to be a 50’s style games arcade.
  4. They are just removing the hut - Dont get too excited!
  5. Hannah Barbera charectors are really old now. I was born in 1996 and I know almost nothing about them other then the few remakes/movies. They are not at all relevant to my age group.
  6. Intresting! Why could they not operate them in house like other attractions?
  7. Yep, they recently bought the farm next door. Alongside the already massive plot they already had, they have well over 500 acres of land.
  8. It's also completely the wrong colour for the Booomerang coasters.
  9. I just seen a post from a Dreamworld maintenance staff member stating the Gondolas on Giant Drop have already been replaced! One early this year, and the other late last year.
  10. Looks like the remote control boats are coming back!
  11. For what purpose? As much as the ride is pretty meh, it has consistently been pretty popular ride over the years. If they rethemed the ride to fit Rivertown, and put some lifted faux rock work in around the track, it could be as good as Jet Rescue.
  12. Apparently they had basketball in the Wild West!
  13. Picture from The Theme Park Social Network
  14. According to Movie Worlds wikipedia page, the new ride will be an SBF Visa Swing Tower 9 Meter.
  15. Well, that was unexpected. Gumbuya is really not messing about.
  16. It's not been painted yet.
  17. All 3 of them are different. Dreamworlds is from Ferrari Sea Worlds is from Arrow Dynamics And I'm pretty sure Movie Worlds is SBF Visa.
  18. Looks like DC Rivals is getting repainted
  19. While they were doing work there, having the planters plus all of the concrete in the front of the shop covered with white dust was not a great look. It's not a sign of long term decline like the other photos, but I felt that it represented the current attitude towards the park currently from VRTP. 5 Mins with a hose would have cleaned it all up.
  20. I visited Movie World a few days ago, and the physical condition was quite disappointing. But, to be honest all the other VRTP properties were just a bad.
  21. Not ride maintenance exactly, but worth mentioning that the Looney Tunes shop is getting rendered.
