  1. There is now an offical Topgolf: Gold Coast Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/topgolfgoldcoast/
  2. I wouldn’t get to excited, that sign has been used on rides before that have just gone under maintenance. Nothing unusual to see that sign.
  3. Tree is now complete and more decorations have appeared throughout
  4. The timber fence has been completely removed now (Photo TPSN)
  5. Volcano looking really good (Photo: TPSN)
  6. In a recent post on FB by MW they have stated that the first drop is 85 degrees.
  7. High Country Legends is returning due to popular demand on December 1
  8. When it comes to water parks, I dont think theming throughout is essential, but definitely a perk to have for individual rides. But when you look at some of the parks in the US, in particular, Volcano Bay; that water park looks incredible and the theme it has seems to really add to the overall experience and feel of the park. For me, WnW, despite not having a theme, the built up vegetation of the park really adds to it and makes it feel like a nice and relaxing place.
  9. Remember though that the maintenance was supposed to start a week ago, and reopen on Boxing Day, but it was significantly shortened to just a couple of weeks.
  10. I’ve heard it will be Paw Patrol
  11. Dora’s Best Friends Adventure will be closing on the 16th of November 2017 to make way for an exciting new show. Dora Show Stage: Closed for refurbishment on 17th November and will re-open on 9th December 2017.
  12. Was just looking through the DW website, and realised that the Tiger Photo Experience is still not avaible. Originally Stage 2 was supposed to include an upgraded facility for this. I wonder if we will see this return in the future? Obviously the plans changed for Stage 2 (As we have seen with what they’ve done, compared to the original artists impression), but I do hope they bring it back again.
  13. Just driven past DW and there appears to be a crane in the Wipeout area. This could mean the other arm is being lifted into position.
  14. That was a great read, and glad to see Craig was willing to be open about these things and the state of the park. Once all those things have been executed that area of park will look a lot better, and should create some new opportunities for them. Im very happy to hear that they will enclose the mine ride again, if the track gets the all clear (which I really hope it does). And about bloody time they remove the chair lift completely, and fix the awful craziness of that area of path. This may all take a couple of years, but I look forward to seeing what the park does, and how it will all come together once completed. I get your point Skeeta, but that tunnel was pretty awful, and I’m glad to see it go. And surely, the time and effort to remove it would cost more than to install a camera?
  15. Good to hear the log ride will be open in time for Christmas, and that all the thrill rides will be too. Maybe we will be seeing a new attraction next year, based off what they are saying will be there focus. It is a shame that they won’t be exploring the thrill market for a while (based off what was said), but I’m sure one day they will again.
  16. Plenty of decorations have been added over the last couple of days: Tree is nearly complete The Ginger Bread house panelling has been installed FAKE SNOW EVERYWHERE Flags installed Even more lighting around the park This has appeared also, so maybe this year we wont see the fairy fly down Main Street More speakers/snow machines in place And Santas Workshop is being installed And just an overview of Main Street
  17. I’d say it will remain up when the studios aren’t using the pool. Much nicer to the look at than just a large blue wall
  18. I don’t think we will see another major ride added at MW until at least 2020 now. I hope next year they change the Hollywood Stunt Driver Show. But otherwise, I’m happy with how the park is. Just keep maintaining and making small improvements. The last few years, so much has been invested, building up to the point of the opening of the world class ride. Now the attention will/has move/d to SW, which should bring life back to the park throughout.
  19. Contacted MW and they said tickets will go on sale next week
  20. Work is currently happening on the dive element. Bright lights shining on it, within multiple workmen on cherry pickers, up at the top of the rides section
  21. There are plenty of works happening throughout SW too And it seems like an all new attraction is coming to the entrance pathway outside SW And an update on the Sea Lion Theatre
  22. To be fair, they only have 5 rides closed: BS, Wipeout, TailSpin, log ride and Merry go round. And when it isn’t peak season, that’s pretty standard for the park. If it was still like this in Summer, then I’d have my concerns, but right now, no.
