  1. Wipeout and footpath progress
  2. The next pieces have been installed, dropping down over the track before the Stengel Dive. Also a number of new supports are scattered around the place, as well as some ready to be installed. A close up of those tightly twisted pieces
  3. Why would they install a coaster, and then suddenly decide to repaint it all. What a waste of time and money. The colour and theme would've been decided a long time ago, as the manufacturing process of the track pieces needed to start. I doubt they would've changed the theme because of the DW incident, and in all honestly, despite being an unusual choice at first. This colour is awesome. It looks great, stands out, and supports match it. And I'm sure whatever the theme is, it will match perfectly well with it, as people have said. Bring on the announcement
  4. Top maze for me is Wolf Creek (first year), for its overall experience, theming and unexpected scars throughout. Then it would be Evil Within, damn that was good. And I did think it was almost as good the second time around. The scariest maze ever for me was Friday the 13th (first year). Scare actors running at you, and unexpected scares throughout was terrifying. Wyrmwood is the best returning maze so far, and definitely improved on it in many ways. Conjuring 2 maze was really good, and introduced some new ideas, sets and ways to scare people that hadn't been done before. With the girl scaring from above, and the kitchen with all the moving cabinets. And the build up and suspense for that one, before entering the maze was great. Apparitations is probably one of the better precincts they've done because it had a good scare in it, was a shame it wasn't a bigger Precinct. But the best one so far is the Zombieland one. Well detailed and recognisable characters. The best FN for me so far is 2015. Nearly everything was great about it, and there were constant scared throughout. Out of all the ones I've been to (2013-), last years was my least favourite, as it didn't feel as scary, and some elements felt rushed or seemed weird to have at FN.
  5. No they haven't yet @xRazzBerryx the track pieces are on site ready to be installed, but don't know why they haven't yet.
  6. 3 pieces installed today, with the next lot of supports where the track will drop down after the twisty hill. After the drop down it will sharply turn to the right
  7. And a question in regards to what I noticed yesterday. Are some pieces of track installed, without a support because it is easier to do it that way, and don't necessarily rely on the support during its installation, until later on?
  8. Something I've just noticed, and that tickets to WnW are now the same as MW and SW on online, and costs $69.99 for children and $79.99 for adults. When you go to buy tickets for single day and select any of the parks, it's the same cost: https://themeparks.com.au/box-office/theme-park-tickets/select-tickets.aspx
  9. I imagine this will vary, depending the coaster type, mechanical system and whether they have any issues or not. But generally how long before a coasters opening, do they begin to test the ride?
  10. Love this curve, so cool. Thanks for this higher quality image, that sharp twisting piece is 42.
  11. A few more track pieces were installed after @Theme Park Girl update (great photos by the way), and is now starting to head up towards, but I imagine (by the placement of the footings) will be the corkscrew element of the coaster, as seen on The Flash. And along with this, I also noticed that a few supports hadn't already been installed before the track. Something I also want to have, and this is just a thought, based off the remaining footings in this area, and I now do believe there will be a massive loop (like Flash), and will be in this part: My reasoning is because of the footings surrounding the installed track, the distance between some, and for me, nothing else makes sense yet. And this piece is outside of the fence, meaning the support coming from it would be tall, so this would go to one of the higher points of the loop
  12. Yeah, it has been off the park map since the park reopened. It's because it isn't available to guests, and the park knew it wouldn't be for a while, so they took it off all the maps. However it's still shown on the website because it isn't gone forever, and DW have confirmed it will be reopening, we just don't know when
  13. @xRazzBerryx Unfortunately I didn't have my big lens on me, so I couldn't zoom in well on those curved pieces of track to see what the numbers are. Next time I check out progress and I have my camera on me, I'll check (Unless some one else beets me too it).
  14. Couple more pictures of the pieces installed today, as well as some of the other components, and you can begin to how this will flow through from the S Bend. It will turn sharply from here, getting close to the ground Continue underneath the taller footings And then I believe heading towards this point Couple more angles of the new section today: Some of the pieces waiting to be installed: And you'll see that this is piece 81, to give an idea of how much will happen before and after this point This taller support was installed today also First break run pieces have been installed also: Overview from near GL Part of the fencing has been damaged also: And finally, I just love how tight the turns are on these pieces of tracks. Can't wait to see them installed
  15. Wow they were installed quickly today, and that twist looks so good.
  16. Has anyone every tried to Shazam it when in the park, I doubt it would come up, but maybe
  17. The larger crane has now moved to the far back left corner (near the lake) lifting supports in place
  18. They might not being starting fully on the first drop, as there are quite a few footings scattered all over the place, as seen in the photos.
  19. I think your right @thunder001 because if you zoom in on the image and look just to the left of those supports there are some supports further back. The drop could be where those supports are, but I've always thought it would run closest to the fence, due to the placement of the footings
  20. Supports are likely to be on location, piece number 9 in one of my above photos is quite large and multiple of them, so I'd say that is for a high section of the lift hill. But to my knowledge, no track is on site yet
  21. @Brad2912 but it is. You can see the water through those small windows at the bottom. That is the tank in front of the wall
