Even if the painting over the logo wasn't for us, everyone can still see the 'product of Mack Rides' written on them. And the coaster isnt causing any direct issues to residents anyways, as it isn't connected to their land.

MDMC is just faster at launch (72km/h), but becomes much slower as the ride goes on, and as you say is much higher up. While JR launches at 65km/h and is much lower to the ground, with the second launch boosting it to 70km/h, and its tight and quick turns makes it a much more enjoyable ride.

I'd call MDMC family thrill, and JR thrill. Even DW themselves class MDMC as a moderate ride on their park map.

And someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure I read that the issue with the safety harnesses for maintenance stuff is they were old and not the current harness system required.

Improvement notices are: • Green Room Waterslide – the “Emergency Stop” button’s colour is faded and the label contains the manufacturer’s ride name not WhiteWater World’s name. WhiteWater World is installing new buttons and labelling. • WhiteWater World is required to submit a Chemical Register to notify WHSQ of storage of hazardous chemicals. WhiteWater World is filing this notification. • The Flowrider ride requires an updated chemical log book. Dreamworld is updating. • Staff working on the Flowrider are required to use upgraded Personal Protective Equipment (respiratory masks) when adding pool chemicals and should be trained in how to use the new masks. Dreamworld has purchased new masks and staff training on mask handling, storage and use has commenced. • A Flowrider plastic mat connection contained a sharp edge and was a potential scratch hazard. Dreamworld has repaired this. • Dreamworld requires durable tags for all electrical equipment/tools (‘tag and test’ tags). Dreamworld is ‘tagging and testing’ all outstanding equipment. • A maintenance staff member working on the Escape from Madagascar ride did not comply with ‘Work at Heights’ requirements. Dreamworld will undertake ‘Work at Heights’ training. Prohibition notices are: • WHSQ raised a concern with maintenance safety harness anchor points on the BuzzSaw. Dreamworld is undertaking independent certification to ensure the ride manufacturer’s anchor systems comply with Australian standards. • WHSQ identified a staff maintenance procedure error relating to a maintenance safety chain on the BuzzSaw. Dreamworld has revised the maintenance procedure and re-training has commenced. A secondary system will also be installed. • The BuzzSaw requires an additional inter-lock gate for the operator’s control booth to restrict operator access to the ride platform during ride operation. The new operator booth gate has been installed and will be subject to WHSQ approval.

Ride is in maintenance again based for SWs website

I drove past MW at about 1:30 and saw the ride had stopped at the top, and straight away I thought, I wonder how long it will be before the media 'reports' on this.

It appears that the Vikings Revenge at Sea World has reopened as its maintenance has been removed off the website. Happy days.

At this stage it was just one big one

Just been to MW to check out these footers and the construction in the carpark, and wow they are getting on with them so quick, and there are so many of them. They are literally everywhere now near GL and heading towards AA. I couldn't get photos as close at TPSN because there were workmen every where and machinery moving around.

DD maintenance has been extended again and is now reopening Wednesday 23rd November

There wasn't a video at the top, but one about 3/4 of the way up with the guy saying, 'what y'all still doing here'. When I rode it a month or so ago it was broken and played about 3 times as we passed.

It was just the first thing that came to mind, but there is definitely a chance it could be another one of those.

I have a number of friends who work at both DW and WWW and have been in contact with them over the last few days asking about how they are doing, how the parks doing and what they've been up to. All are doing well and are all really glad to be back at work and do what they can to prepare the park for reopening. One friend works in admistrarion and ticketing and is doing general work around the park and replying to emails and calls from people. Another friend works with the koalas mainly, but has been helping with the other wildlife. They are performing usual routines, including Croc feeding around the usual times of the park being open. They are having a lot of interaction with the kangaroos like they usually would. The other friend works at WWW and is a slide operator, they are currently assisting with the check over of the slides and helping where needed throughout the parks.

Looking at those lamp posts and the timber trunks, is actually not a fan of them, and don't think they match the area at all, in my opinion. I think I actually preferred them more when there wasn't anything and it was just a white post.

@Gold Coast Amusement Force they are keeping it, but they are just replacing the slide.
