  1. This splashdown is yet to be refilled but the bucket for pipeline plunge has returned
  2. Apparently WWF is getting new boats/lap bars for each individual
  3. Probably got a deal when they bought the new Roadrunner sign
  4. Something I noticed during the testing was they have added some sound effects/audio of road runner as the train leaves and arrives at the station and ascends up the lift hill. I believe there was porky pig and maybe another character who did announcements
  5. A more permanent fence is being constructed
  6. Update on the memorial And these battens have appeared on the side of the spaghetti walkways. I imagine this is too tidy the look of them up
  7. Let’s hope they give the farmyard a bit of a clean up and update In the spirit of spring, I bring you an animal update
  8. Walking through the park today I noticed something was different. And I am very excited to be bringing this exclusive update to you all. After over 12 years, the old Hollywood Stunt Driver posters have finally updated.
  9. Nothing appears to have changed, but they’ve rebuilt the facade next to it
  10. The path is complete It’s looking pretty tight through here for the train Shading being installed A really nice wall separates the queue from viewing the launch And some battens have been added to the control booth for ‘theming’
  11. Train was in testing today. And who’s ready to see the most disappointing attraction entrance sign we’ve seen from MW?
  12. No surprise that there revenue was less which how this year has been. Good to see that they won’t remove anything else, but no mention of anything new coming (even if it was small). I guess from their perspective, no rides really have long wait times so that means they’ve got enough rides to manage the amount of guests coming through. Which is a sad thought. But hopefully next year we see crowds begin to increase as travel can become more certain.
  13. They wouldn’t do cosmetic works to the train while on the track. All that would’ve been done in the factory. That is what the train will look like
  14. Money. The park had such low attendance in the winter, I’d imagine most days they would be running at a lose or very little profit. Just look at wet n Wild. They are only operating 3 days a week currently and the car park is still near empty of those days. Usually we’d get the southern tourists who don’t mind this temperature at water parks, but they can’t come to the GC right now. People complained about the park becoming seasonal when announced, but most of them wouldn’t have visited the park anyways. So closing late April and opening again in September was a smart move.

  16. Yep that worked Id say they will start testing all the rides again and getting the park ready for its reopening next month
  17. @Im Hungry image doesn’t work and I searched for their account and it doesn’t appear to have anything either?
  18. It seems like there hasn’t been any major works been done since May. Construction of the station and maintenance building will probably take 4-6 weeks. Then we will have testing for 4-6 weeks. Plus landscaping, pathways, theming and signage. There probably another 3 months worth of work to go at the minimum. So if we don’t see work start up again next month, I don’t think we will see a December opening
  19. @Brad2912 yes I did. Id like to think you already have, but have you contacted the park or asked guest services to fix the issue?
  20. From my recent visits, it doesn’t appear that they’ve started on the station/queue yet. @Naazon might be able to confirm But things aren’t looking confident for a Summer opening. But they might not be in a rush anymore because of the border/lockdown uncertainty at the moment. They might decide to push for an Easter 2022 opening instead
