  1. TPSN posted this from DW, don't know where it is from, but it is something shared by DW. And it says that the log ride and vintage cars will be a whole new experience.
  2. @Santa07 Exactly what I thought, and there is probably going to be about 10-20 metres of a vertical drop. This was the first up close look of the construction since Friday, and they have certainly progressed a lot. I'm thinking the lift hill could take a week or two to construct, but I imagine all track will be installed within the next 2-3 weeks. Train arrives early to mid August, testing begins by the end of August to early September.
  3. Some of the new track and other parts that has arrived The camelback The drop Other parts of the track and station progress The signage out the front of the park: And a look at the logos lit up
  4. Or maybe there won't be a ride photo, and it will have Ride video, or maybe even both (forward gets a photo, backwards gets a video)
  5. Yeah I noticed, and it has been scheduled to close yesterday since the beginning of the year, and was only just on the weekend that it was removed. Seems strange, but constructing a third shed would be a smart move, because they've had an attraction closed for 4-5 months of the year. They would need to clear some more land around the current sheds if they were to build one there. Or maybe, they will be using the two film studios/stages again. So they won't need the sound stage behind the villains area if they did.
  6. Also, while they tell us the height, I'd be interested in knowing the angle of the first drop. Thanks in advance MW 😄
  7. Driving past it on the highway this morning, it doesn't look taller. But as you can see in these two images, depending on where you stand, makes it look smaller or taller. Happy to be wrong though. EDIT: Looking at this render of the ride, yes it is taller.
  8. Because the camelback isn't as all as the NIL
  9. @Ryande16 It isn't, it's just the perspective of the photo. It's about 30-35 metres.
  10. Thanks for the update @crowd. Love that airtime hill, and great to see the first lift hill pieces have arrived. @jack.c The top of the BuzzSaw is about 46 metres high, while the Rivals NIL is 40 metres high. They aren't the same style because BS goes upside down, and the inversion is angled down, while Rivals is basically straight.
  11. By the looks of it (based off those renders), they be removing the ice cream store to the right, and making that part of this attraction. And if there being water tanks being installed, i imagine they take quite a bit of work. As you say @Reanimated35, there must be more to it, or there is a lot more work that has to go into it than we think
  12. @Skeeta They've now removed the post
  13. Name and theme still not released. Spins 120 degrees, and features the new type of harness. And will open in a couple of months.
  14. The shared the teaser video from today tonight on their FB today
  15. Just one more piece for theblift hill, all lift hill and first drop, and the bunny hop pieces towards the end
  16. WOW WOW WOW. Looks awesome. A lot taller and steeper than I first imagined. The airtime on that will be insane.
  17. @themeparkaddict I agree with some of what you've said, but I wouldn't say DW aren't bothered about people seeing the river Rapids. They've got fencing all the way around, with no way to see it. And if you are going up GD, I doubt most people ride it to see it, as you go up the tower pretty quick, and are probably more focused on the height and waiting for the drop. I don't think they've given up on Wipeout, and it's still in bits and hasn't been touched lately is because they are waiting on parts to arrive, so maybe they can't do anything else before they arrive. The ride operated for a couple of weeks before going into maintnce, and is definitely a loved ride. So I doubt they will just get rid of it, especially after all the money they've spent on it in recent years.
  18. Another piece of track was installed yesterday, reaching past the support, as well as more supports installed to the left
  19. Almost completely gone now (Photo: TPSN)
  20. I'd love to see something like Water World at the park. This couldn't go on the lake, but somewhere else in the park (water park) would be awesome. They obviously couldn't do the exact same show due to licensing, but taking that stunt/water show combination and creating something awesome like that would be great for the park.
  21. TPSN posted this photo yesterday. What are they doing here?
  22. Another support was installed And here's a photo of the NIL as the sun sets
  23. The left side of the air time hill was being installed at 8am this morning. Depending on how quick they are, we might see it completed today, or maybe tomorrow.
  24. I'm pretty sure schools in Singapore went back to school the week before I was there, but the surrounding countries were just about to be on there's. Glad you had a good day there, and wow, those queues were much busier than when I was there.
