The idea is the mountain is about to blow, so i think if there's a projection of someone at the base of the mountain lighting TNT, and then the spark trails (LED strips) lead all the way up the mountain, and then into TNT barrels at the top, with the sound of an explosion behind you as you exit the mountain. Maybe even some smoke machines just outside of it, to make it appear the mountain did explode.

We know it's a non inverting loop just by looking at the track numbers. Most of the tightly twisted pieces in the carpark right now are numbered between the entry/exit pieces for this loop

Now that we've had our first announcement/hint for the coaster, imagine if they did this every week until the final announcement of the theme. Just keep giving bits of info, building the excitement for everyone, and really getting the info out there regularly to really get people talking

I imagine the idea for this teaser was just to get these major titles about the coaster out there. Saying its the greatest ever attraction, the longest, tallest and fastest. You can tell by the track imagery its going to be a coaster. I don't think people are going to say when its finished, "Hold on, they said this is going to be the tallest. Giant Drop is taller. I ain't riding it"

Finally, the whale has been put back And work still continues around the Nickelodeon Store, and the decking next to it has been completely removed

Visited the park today, and the screen displays everything VRTP related, including old adverts of rides open for years, such as GL. There has also been this ribbon added, and a stage

They are tree trunks, and the backdrop is currently being spray painted on. Also, lanterns have been added throughout the area

Looking really good. Staff were in training this morning, so there is a chance it could open this weekend

Just looked through all those photos of Valcano Bay, and wow that looks incredible. Just shows how amazing and well themed a water park can be.

He was the CEO of Adventure World in Perth, and the blue tick means he's legit

Also to add about GL, the Giant logo isn't lit up either, and hasn't been for a couple of days

I've ridden it twice and both times I've been on an end (this was mainly due to my heat, and the original height restriction with the central seating), and found the ends to be really enjoyable because you only see the sky, or coming back down the ground.

I definitely think a Parade from DW would be a great idea. They do currently have the opening show at 10, and the closing show just before 5, which seem to be popular when I've been to the park. And having elements from all areas would be great, especially some aboriginal dancing/music. Don't think they should or would do something for the Tigers, as they don't bring them out during the day when there are guests due to noise and people interacting with them incorrectly (They do do it when they are cubs however). But one big dance party on Main Street would be awesome. They don't even generally need to have floats like MW (but they would be more than welcome).

There were two updates is since the original post: UPDATE 12:53PM: Power remains out at Dreamworld this afternoon. Energex has restored power to the local area feeder. Dreamworld and Energex are investigating the cause of the outage before power is returned to the Park. We apologise to all guests for this inconvenience and we thank Energex for their swift response and support. Update will follow. UPDATE 12:25PM: Local area power outage. Energex has advised the local area power outage is due to a substation failure. Energex has crews onsite and is currently working to return power to the local area. Not long afterwards all guests and staff had to leave the park, while the electrical issue is attended to and resolved. The park should reopen tomorrow.

Great to see they are getting in early with posting something online, before the media start making false reports.
