  1. Love this shots angle, really show the height and angle down the coaster makes. Thanks for today's updates @pushbutton
  2. That's actually a really good idea. Hanging a banner of some sort, or fix a board from the rides supports during construction. That would really stand out and especially facing towards the highway.
  3. In the last 2hrs a support had been installed in between, so I suspect track will be installed in the next couple of hours.
  4. @Theme Park Girl that would be a plot twist of the century.
  5. I agree, and this wouldn't be used to access the studios any more as the coasters entrance and queue area will be there. I think the logos look good, and making them 3D really adds to it, rather than a 2D image. And I imagine they will be lit up at night, which will look cool. I suppose it adds to the entrance as you drive into the park (If they do add them to the top of all of the fence around the coaster).
  6. Maybe that's we will see all the way around the fencing, instead of something like GL.
  7. To answer your question, that satellite image that shows Richards example layout shows the full area over the coaster, and you can see the footings and fence line. Just go to the top of that post he made and you'll see exactly what I'm on about with the lines over it. We don't know any specifics for the ride in regards to length, height, speed, etc, it is mostly spectaculation.
  8. Here's just a couple of pictures I took this morning before any construction workers arrived (Except for a couple of offical looking people walking around the site) Nothing new really, just a couple more angles for progress
  9. And WWW has reduced hours in winter
  10. For those who were asking how tall that top right bit of track is. It looks like it is almost 2 buses lengths high.
  11. Damn it's looking good. And despite being a bit unsure about the colour, I really think it was a great choice and really does make a statement out the front of the park. And despite this being the only part of the coaster constructed, it really gives an idea of the large scale of this coaster. One thing that I can't get my head around still is that if the coasters lift hill does reach a height of over 61m, then it will be the same, if not taller than Batwing Spaceshot.
  12. http://themeparks.com.au/box-office/community-month/select-tickets.aspx
  13. @pushbutton yes a ticket includes both parks now. WWW is now classed as a world within DW, and a ticket includes both parks. Been like since they reopened, and maybe even a couple of months before that (can't exactly remember).
  14. Community Month is returning this May. FREE admission to members of the Australian Emergency Services, Doctors, Nurses and Carers, Defence Force Personnel, Teachers and Educational Staff. Plus, offering up to $60.00 saving per ticket for 3 friends and family during Community Month for $29.99 And this year you don’t have to come during a specific week. All community groups are welcome throughout May 2017 to Warner Bros. Movie World, Sea World, Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast and Australian Outback Spectacular.
  15. @Theme Park Girl thanks for the update. I'm thinking that top piece will then turn and drop down into that other piece installed. @jack.c Nope, they only update every few months, so probably won't see one until August/September
  16. Her kids only dug the holes for Doomsday, so I imagine they've only done the same for the coaster.
  17. The next piece has now been put in place, going up to the next support.
  18. @Skeeta People who actually know what they are doing.
  19. I imagine it might be to do with the lift hills locations being so close to GL, and with it still being school holidays for some states, they don't want to close the ride when they can install other sections of the ride. It might also be because they don't need a massive crane just yet (or it might not be available yet) so they are starting with the lower sections of the track. So in conclusion, no idea.
  20. Here's a wider shot I just took
  21. Its already sold out. There are plans for more sessions to be held throughout the year and Dreamworld passholders will be offered the first opportunity to book via email. Dates yet to be confirmed.
  22. Just a side note @jack.c, it is always best to give credit to the source of where the photo is from.
  23. When I went to the park yesterday at about 2pm to take some photos of the coaster, the main carpark was full, but there was still plenty of room on the grass area. TPSN just posted a video, and there are 3 pieces in place
