I absolutely love that they have updated that classic logo and have brought it back. That’s the DW I love, I hope they do a heap of things like this. I believe I read somewhere or heard from someone at the park that they have updated/brining back the original park song for the campaign and will be played in the park.

I was the passenger as we drove past, had a look, saw a crane, saw it was in front of the slider tower (in the area where the shade structure is), leads to my belief they are lifting shade structures into place

There is a large crane at the back of the park which I believe is lifting the shade structures into place

I know the opening date and someone has guessed it.

To transition from DW to WWW isn’t as simple as just walking over there and going on a couple water slides. You need to bring swimmers, get changed, slide, dry off, get changed again and go back to DW. Unless you go to DW in your swimmers! A theme park needs a water attraction. Every major park in the world that I can think of has a water ride. MW does. SW had 3 (Storm, Vikings and Battle Boats). DW had 2. And they were the most popular rides in the park.

The wall lighting used to always be there, but a couple years ago they started removing it after the event period had finished
