  7. I was at movie world 2 weeks ago and no water at all, full of leaves and didn’t look like it was ever going to reopen but I guess it will after what’s it been 9 or 10 months. Will be great to have this family ride back
  8. Looks like we will be getting to ride the Wild West falls at movieworld soon water is filled once more and test dummies loaded should be running start of april🤞
  9. Yeah I was there a few weeks ago. Ask guest services and they said they were finalising plan for ride so it could be a few months before we see the ride get it’s new theming for Scooby.
  10. Well Wild West falls is closed till 1 feb 2018, they could be waiting on dreamworld to see how their changes affect the log ride before they think about addding a cage. Just think of the how ruined the photo would be on Wild West falls with a cage
  11. Sad to see the whole gold rush area will go but hope for a great new section for the future it is a large area so let hope money is spent on this development for the future
  12. It is does look like dreamworld is slowly dying I lived in sydney and I was there for the end of wonderland sydney and sega world. Now I live north of Brisbane’s but am a regular to our Gold Coast parks. Movie world is smashing out world class rides but dreamworld has built average rides for too long and now after these deaths dreamworld has done nothing still Memorial (I was there’s two weeks ago and asked what’s happening was told they haven’t asked the family if it is ok to build it yet). A lot of rides are down for maintenance but I hope I’m wrong but I do A very hard year 2018 hopefully dreamworld is still open or with a new company runnning it. It’s a great opportunity for another theme park group to take over and bring the public back
  13. Rocky hollow log ride Is looking good they are replacing all the old station part that hold the log in place when riders get in and new wood around the track I’m forgot to get photos on Friday but looks like just are making it safer with new parts can’t wait to see how it feels in December. I took two photo of the mine cart mountain. Everyone is hoping that once mountain is gone, the track is in good Condition for renovation can be done so we can ride this ride once again as it was a great ride.
  14. Hi guys and girls. Just wondering if anyone has seen or confirmed if there are two or more trains to dc rivals as this is a long ride and queue lines will be long sorry if I missed if in the previous pages
  15. I sent an email a week ago and got a reply I asked will they repaint the ride this is the reply I got Hi Russell,Thank you for your email, great to hear you are as excited as us for the awesome relaunch of Hot Wheels Sidewinder! All we can say at this time is that all will be revealed on 26th December regarding our coaster's brand new look. We think you'll be stoked with the end result as much as we are!As always, come on down regularly and see if you can't catch a glimpse of what's happening around the park. See you soon! With Warm Regards,Jordan | Dreamworld ReceptionDreamworld | WhiteWater World | SkyPoint
  16. A wooden coaster that going around Wild West falls and the Wild West themed area would be great, that would work with a steel coaster as long as it's themed right
  17. I know we don't know what's happening but this does look like they are working on fixing the ride which will cost a lot and take months but hope is there and I'm happy with that
  18. that would be great, a wooden coaster thru the island and around the trees would be a fantastic edition for dreamworld but are they will to spend the money and cost to build it.
  19. This has been years working on getting funding Sydney will be so happy to finding get a real theme park again and the plans will finally get the big roller coasters we have always wanted as long as the land deal is reached
  20. This would be a shocking move just like the tower of terror new train will be great but not sure on riding a whole roller coaster backwards will wait and see if it true
  21. I don't have any photos but the entrance to tower of tower was first on the other side in the now dreamworks area the line up was totally different where groups were take up from an outside line up area. Hope someone has photos cause it was a totally different experience.
  22. I'm remember that ride rode it at the Easter show back then worst ride ever once it drops from the lift hill very fast one loop and then a lot of brake and finished. Lift hill is a great idea but not on such a small track 30 sec lift hill 5 seconds more and the rides over
  23. This ride can be improved with fixing of the line up areas and theming, new trains would give it a new life also replace the lift hill chain system. It would be a waste to remove it as the area would not be used again for dreamworld as its an area which runs through out the white water world. Let's hope for an upgrade
  24. Found it from 2010 OTORSPORT-themed extension to Movie World, featuring five themed restaurants, a games arcade, plus dragster and go-kart themed rides is in the planning stages with the Gold Coast City Council asking for more details. In committee today, councillors rejected Warner Bros. Movie World's initial application because it was 'scant on detail'. But the committee also recommended that the full Council urge the developer to lodge more detailed plans, chairman Cr Ted Shepherd said. Have your say on the feedback form below ''And we would give an undertaking that the application would be considered quickly. We are aware of their desire to have the attraction opened as soon as possible,'' said Cr Shepherd. Under the proposal, Movie World would expand its operations to take in a new village square, five themed restaurants, a games arcade, dragster and go-kart themed rides and a ticket booth in a self-contained precinct between the existing park and the M1.
