  1. They also talk a lot about battery and renewable energy sources. I would rule out air powered and hydraulic for that reason. Likely some form of LIM/LSM
  2. Also wouldn't have anything to do with rides getting older as they all aren't the same age, but the maintenance downtime is increasing across the board.
  3. As far as I know, scooby didn't have any announced upgrades, but occasionally VRTP do minor upgrades during annual maintenance so potentially they could have completed something. Have the annual maintenance periods been extended? I swear years ago it was 4 weeks, then 6 weeks, now it looks like 8 weeks.
  4. Nothing we haven't seen before but great for one of our parks to get such good exposure. This video will likely have over a million views by the end of the day. https://youtu.be/2nQ-rijlX3o
  5. In 2020ish the WnW one was completely torn down and was a hole in the ground. Good to see it built back up and hopefully running soon, although missing out on critical summer dollars.
  6. Thats some tight timeframes. I hope they realise how long it takes to fly from the west coast to the east coast. Day 4 is really gonna suck.
  7. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sea_World_Monorail_System As as side note, that page contradicts its self about the number of trains demolished and also has personal opinions listed as fact, so not the greatest page.
  8. While I'm at it, I'll echo what everyone has already said when these topics come up. There needs to be a multi-buy option. 2 Backwards for $45 is a way more money than 0 backwards for 0. I don't think multi-buy should exist for one shot though since fast pass exists.
  9. Are they trying to pay the ride off with One Shot purchases? $45 is quite a bit..
  10. While I normally agree, DDs downtime is due to the e stop and would be cool to know when that comes back
  11. I would avoid honestly. You're better off going to the beach or a council pool
  12. especially if during maintenance they already dismantle the whole ride, wouldn't they just re-build with new coverings?
  13. Needs more description Wizard of Oz - Flying Monkey Suspended Family Coaster
  14. I'm talking Saturday arvo. Trident was working during the morning. So cool thanks for the info? And measured existing as a human with all my senses working
  15. When I was there Saturday the attendants at Trident were showing people where the wind gauges are and explaining how they operate ect. It was also windy.
  16. You could fit it, with some adjustments, and likely losing the trees and the pathway.
  17. I thought it was already confirmed to be moving to another park? Or was that only speculation?
  18. And they don't stop working on it during the day if they can help it. Labour costs are cheaper during business hours..
  19. Never mind. Flagged errors when the first group were on.
  20. I looked back Apologies you were just in the discussion a bit Edit: I think it was @Lukefor those playing at home Looks like Vortex is back open today.
  21. Forgive me if I'm wrong but weren't you also the person who claimed the foundations were sinking?
