  1. Technical rehearsals aren’t promoted, and they are told even if they don’t read it there’s a chance it won’t open. As it’s not announced and most of the people who were mad aren’t coaster enthusiasts, they wouldn’t even know it’s open, and travel once it is promoted as being open.
  2. You’re telling me if over the past 2 days you lined up for hours only to be turned away you wouldn’t be annoyed? Staff previews were one day which they did have a technical delay half way through the session. Technical rehearsals help the park understand the ride more, while ironing out kinks, there’s a reason parks with high attendance, like Universal, do it. Look at Taipan, it was having issues during its passholder previews with the Tailwhip seats which they were able to fix prior to the opening, this should’ve happened. Besides this experience, based on 1 ride the ride is very different to anything else in the country, Top 3 with Taipan and DCR but unsure where it is placed. The next group of riders being released into the station as a train dispatches would make a lot more sense, sending the next group when a trains been emptied and sitting there, while the other ones already halfway up the lift, slows down the operations a lot and makes the second train sit in the sun forever.
  3. today so far it’s opened late (11-11:30), had 2 minor breakdowns then closed for the rest of the day at around 3:20. Vortex has been closed since 11ish and is only about to open now (testing is happening atleast but has been on and off multiple times today.) Everyone in line when we got told to leave were very pissed off and heard some came back today as yesterday it closed. It doesn’t seem like it was open and was pushed to meet the opening date, a soft opening should’ve been done to iron out the kinks. Having all 3 rides of the new rides closed in an area that’s already been delayed so much + another ride broken down isn’t a great look.
  4. The ride is down again for a minor delay, on top of this Vortex and Jet Rescue are also down. edit: queue line has been emptied and ride is closed.
  5. the ride is down again, it didn’t open until late and has operated for around an hour only.
  6. It must’ve been a glitch as it is now back on the maintenance website, Leviathan isn’t so im going to guess it will be opening today.
  7. in a way it feels like Village are taking Dreamworld’s investments and ongoing improvements seriously and i’m glad as they’re now stepping up their game. Fright Nights was slightly improved this year, White Christmas is definitely improved, The New Atlantis Theming is phenomenal, and plus whatever else is coming. It’s good to feel the competition arising again, instead of just having one superior and one lesser then.
  8. on the rides actual page it still says closed due to high winds, i’m going to guess maybe it just hasn’t updated. I wonder if they finished testing during the night event last night or maybe my source just wasn’t reliable about the final testing.
  9. From what i’ve heard, no staff have ridden yet as final testing is still needed to be done, this was meant to be done during the week and on Thursday for a Friday opening but it wasn’t due to winds. They’re currently just waiting for the winds to die down so they can conduct the final tests, should be done by the end of the week. It could explain why the majority of marketing was for Leviathan only, as they were unsure if it would be o ready to open in time.
  10. SeaWorld normally has pretty high winds due to its location so i’m sure they’ve put that into consideration when choosing the manufacturer, it was apparently testing yesterday which i believe was stronger winds so it should be fine today.
  11. I completely forgot this park was actually happening, thank you for correcting me.
  12. apparently 4 parks are building tilt coasters but only two are confirmed, which is Cotaland / Circuit of Americas (same park building the Gerstlauer Infinity Shuttle ‘palindrome’) and Energylandia.
  13. I feel like if the Dreamworld Flier is successful and earns them a bit of money, then rides like Claw will open as well but i think that’s about it, i can’t see any other rides besides Claw opening during the event.
  14. If there is only one train on, the train will continue rolling through and make it back to the station faster then if there was 2 trains on.
  15. I honestly would take MDMC over EFMG and GC, the loop on GC alone feels like my necks going to snap in half then you hit the pothole on the loops exit and your whole body is in need of a chiropractor. MDMC can be fun with friends, especially in the side car which enhances the ride so much.
  16. I hope i’m not the only one but i never realised Trident was 3 seats across and not 2, who did the manufacture end up being for the final product again? Also, I feel bad for the family’s that will go into Leviathan thinking it is a family ride, I think based on the reactions it’ll be as intense as Jet Rescue, if not more.
  17. One thing i don’t get is why MovieWorld never run two trains, like if you know a lot of school groups are coming and for a lot of people it’s the start of school holidays + schoolies, then prepare for a busy day? and while you’re at it, train the staff on how to do faster dispatches, 5mins for a Mack (simple restraint system) isn’t right, if a Mack coaster with same train design down the road can be ready for dispatch when the 2nd train hits the breaks (which involves a 3rd step of scanning the back of the seat), they should be doing the same.
  18. well let’s have a look at the concept as well as the announcements. The carousel will be rethemed to banana’s in pyjamas. EFMG is being rethemed to Kenny’s Forest Flyer Dronkey Flyer’s is being rethemed to a Wiggles Plane ride. The only thing we are unsure of is if Gingy’s Gliders and Puss n Boots are staying or being removed, i’d say one is either being rebranded to ABC Kids or replaced by the ABC Kids wheel, and the other will be removed to make way for the Big Red Boat roller coaster. The Fun Maze, Teacups and Big Red Boat in my opinion will all be leaving, they’re older attractions and better off just removing them now as they aren’t that popular.
  19. dark blue, look at the news story’s or Bikash’s reverse pov reaction video on tik tok.
  20. the pov has now been uploaded onto the parks social media. https://www.instagram.com/reel/ClaqBoxD-zI/?igshid=Nzg3NjI1NGI=
  21. The Forwards POV for Leviathan will be released at 6pm tonight. https://instagram.com/stories/seaworldaus/2979700923096150915?utm_source=ig_story_item_share&igshid=Nzg3NjI1NGI=
  22. Oh nevermind then, i was assuming it was going where the old Kung Fu Panda training area was right after you enter ted the Kung Fu Panda area.
  23. I will say only criticism with the announcement is that i wish there was a new ride being added where the Trolls Village / Kevil Hill building are. That area feels so empty and incomplete, adding a ride there (even something like a Splash-battle if you want to keep the family rides vibe) would’ve worked so well, while also giving the park a safe option for a water ride. However, they have a plan for around the next 5 years so who knows, maybe something bigger that we aren’t expecting will be going in that area.
  24. media has been stating about indiana jones, not dreamworld themselves. two completely different situations.
