Except Aquacolour was less spectacular, the food less appealing and the entertainment more sporadic. It wasn’t bad. But it certainly was a downgrade from 2018.

That does not answer my question in the slightest. Everything needs to be maintained to be kept in operation, so again I ask, what is it about the train that makes it “past it’s used by date”? And “easier to walk” ?

@Theme Park Enthusiast why is it time to remove the train? It’s down for scheduled maintenance. Do you have a family member with a disability? Do you have reduced mobility or suffer from respiratory problems? Do you push a pram when at DW? Ever had to chase kids around wherever you go? If you answer no to those, who are you to judge that “it’s easier to walk than catch a train”?

Guess the debate would be easily solved by what the hose/venting runs into once it gets outside?

I don’t think you compare the electricity needs of AW vs SW. it’s entitely unproportionate. Wouldn’t be surprised if Shark Bay, Polar Bear Shores & the Penguin Exhibit in isolation utilise more power than the whole of AW...

But no one says the all the exhibitions need to be part of a “WB Showcase”. WB doesn’t own the park, VTP does and just licences the WB name, as well as licensing the Nickelodeon brand for SW who are co-producers of Dora with Paramount - so an existing relationship exists there.

I don’t think Kong v Godzilla is exactly going to be rich on props - the title characters are entirely CGI, and “this is the costume that character x wore when looking for kong” or “this is the car that Godzilla stepped on” is hardly interesting or going to bring anyone into the park. They’d get more out of having a Dora The Explorer exhibit launching when the movie drops in August

I’ve had it personally confirmed from park management that the ride is not yet finished, and they just wanted it open for the peak holiday period. Apparently it will be “finished” in a few weeks

Well... just back from Carnivale and what can I say but VTP striking out 3 times with all 3 night events noticably poorer in quality & quantity to their previous runs. - less food options, and of those options the quality was worse - no stage in the main food area anymore, so no live singing at all, just the odd roving entertainment coming through and the girl swinging off the rope/ring off the roof. - Aquacolour clocked in at 8mins vs 20mins last year - ambience and general atmosphere just wasn’t there - and I think that is partially due to its location at SW not allowing for a parade, and the summer setting meaning it’s still light for more than half the event which doesn’t help with creating a Carnivale atmosphere. Whilst the always good buffet saved WC, there was no overall redeeming feature here. Would not pay for entry.

Am I right in believing that Trolls Village will be departing in April? Seem to remember it being stated as a 12 month attraction?
