I just don't see VRTP investing in moving SurfRider. For every investment there must be type of ROI, what do you realistic gain by moving it to SW. sure SW gains a much needed extra ride, but it's not new, it's not a ride that will bring extra people to the park in anyway, and it robs another park of an attraction that is generally well utilised.

My thoughts: *Most of the early school holiday traffic is driven by late pre-teens and teens, none of whom would have made the trip this weekend with no thrill rides operating. I wasn't expecting to see a line of 40 kids just off schoolies lining up for the Big Red Car, were you?? *most working parents don't have annual leave for the whole of the holidays, so the second last weekend before Xmas = shopping time *weather was overcast & fairly lousy *sure, some people won't be back for a while, but they make up a small minority I believe.

If you are going to build a non-DC theme ride, you wouldn't build it with its stationhouse sandwiched between 2 other DC rides (GL & JL) and located in the cluster of DC rides at the front of the parks.

All annual passes have included both parks for at least a couple years as far as I know. I've never seen a Dreamworld only annual pass
