That's completely wrong dude. Wrong trees & land. The exit to the motorway is nowhere near there at all. I live just around the corner, so an well aware of the associated road changes for the town centre. How you came to the conclusion of them clearing a few hectares a kilometre down Foxwell Rd is for the motorway astounds me QIC have actually recently applied to alter the DA to a 2 stage development. Was originally all to be built in one go but not will be over 2 stages

Yep. The original town centre plans include a second entrance to DW being reconfigured to be opposite the town centre and surrounded by an entertainment and restaurant precinct. I didn't know that was going ahead in stage 1, but all the trees and land have now been cleared almost to the big brother compound from Foxwell Rd so it may be happening earlier than thought. An entrance on that side would finally see The Lagoon area cleared and developed, and give DW some sizeable room for a few new attractions

Most gamers or Nintendo fan boys are not going to buy an annual pass because you re-name a roller coaster Mario Kart Circuit or the like. If there was classy and extensive theming then maybe, but if it was a mild paint job, you get what it appears we now have, a disappointing almost half-job and a lot of 'if only's'

My issue is I'd never consider a burrito to be a restaurant standard food. I don't have much of an issue with theme park food prices, it just seems a lot for a burrito. I'll have to give it a go and see what it's like to judge the value

That's better quality, thanks. $22 is extortion for a Burrito, even by Theme Park food pricing standards. As someone asked earlier, in what way is this 'build your own?' I also think 'Bar & Grill' isn't a particularly apt name choice, DH Saloon or Cantina would have suited better. 'Grill' to me means you're at least serving steaks.

Ugh.. I have to say as much as I was excited for this 're-fresh' if all we are really getting is coloured cars and a change up of the loading area with no track re-paint or queue rejig the project is underwhelming. Which is a shame as DW imo has been doing a great job lately

You come to a theme park enthusiasts forum, and expect to be able to post whatever you like with questioning, and then meet any questioning with contempt. we don't know you, and you don't know us, as you've just shown up - that changes through communication. Saying 'those truely in the know have no difficulty getting in touch with me' is just a Tosser of a thing to say, Do you understand the Australian culture and way of life? Might be an idea before you open a theme park here. being a jerk to people who make up a large part of your target market and are generally influencers in the community isn't going to help your cause. I suggest you walk out the door and then come back in with a different attitude and you'll find others will change there's towards you too

i meant more so an attraction in the new precinct or even an unrelated ride to the current proposals at some point in the future. Clearly the 'world class' attraction is not that.

With Doomsday confirmed today as the major villain in BvS (and likely the Justice League movie), I wonder if that open up the possibility of the once mooted Doomsday Tower in the near future..
