2015 in Dreamworld - ABC Kids World, V8 Supercars and more
ummm... That's an orange playset. They also have green, purple, red, black, every colour playset. the theme of hot wheels however is, as I described, yellow and red on a blue base. Google Hot Wheels and see what comes up.

the name fits the ride well. Good choice IMO there is no Orange or Black in the Hot Wheels theme. It's red & yellow, with a blue base colour. I think you are thinking of Matchbox Cars it's not about permission. Dreamworld would be being paid by Mattel to use their branding on the ride. Selling naming rights is big business these days, from Stadiums, to zoo exhibits, and to rides.

Green Lantern incident at MW
The way I see it there is no way the blame can be shared. if there there was a manufacturing or design error in any part that led to the incident, the blame lays with the manufacturer. if the manufacturing was sound, but MW through either inconsistent/poorly completed/unauthorised repairs & maintenance caused a fault or compromised what was a sound design, then blame lies with MW. it can't be case of poor manufacturing AND poor maintenance, as the manufacturing came prior to the maintenance being required, and if there was an issue or even potential issue it should not have been certified

And then who takes the kids on these extra visits to white xmas? The parents pay $40 each extra to take them?

Understand exactly what you are saying Alex as had the same conversation with my sister in law about taking her twin 10yo girls. Loving scary movies on a tv from the comfort of your bed/lounge is very different to having Jason in the flesh jumping out in front of you in a dark corridor.

Green Lantern incident at MW
Yeah that's exactly what I was referring too. The average punter would have no idea the severity of what occurred compared to say a routine e-stop other than its taken a long time to fix. For me, personally, I want to know why it happened, and why it won't happen again.

For those with a little more knowledge of international incidences and subsequent reopening - do you think prior to GL reopening there will be a publicly published report into what occurred and what resolutions have been made to avoid reoccurrence? Obviously the Smiler incident has garnished a lot of media publicity due to the injuries sustained, yet this has had no media talk apart from the usual hysterical reporting on the day. one could argue that whilst there were no serious injuries that occurred on GL, the incident in terms of potential injury/seriousness was even higher than what occurred on Smiler.

The issue for GC parks is the proximity to residential areas, noise restrictions and council zoning/land use permissions.

the area pictured was the entry way to the queue house, the actual queue line is still in tact behind it from memory. what else would you like it to be?

putting LOL before a sentence does not mean it's a joke. Where do people get that idea from? I also referred to your posts in other topics that were also less than funny (oh but you put LOL next to them so that must be ok). I somehow doubt you'd be allowed in an open mic comedy night, given you are coming across as a 13 year old who may have an issue getting into a bar/pub.

Reading your posts across multiple topics this morning, you appear to be trolling for an argument? Grow up. my comment was made someone tongue in cheek, nether the less, don't assume or pretend to know who I am, what I do or why I do it.

Push, you may have good intentions, but there isn't a need for you to get offended for someone else who isn't worried about the comments.

one of the girls who works for me called in sick for her shift last night, before uploading copious amounts of photos of the VIP event on social media. i'll get her to come on here and give you a review right after I have a meeting with her tonight - she'll have plenty of spare time for review writing moving forward

Was never on it. Maintenance team could put a hammer down within 20m of the mountain and it would spark hysteria about a revamp.

didn't attend FN's that far back (6 years ago!). From memory though the event was more family friendly back then though. I think it was around 2010-11 that they really upped the ante

Movie World speculation and dreaming - 2015 edition
Maybe I missed it, but have we had confirmation that it is an extended bar area, and not a new outlet? From what I could see a week ago there is no linkage between the two at all

Yeah seems they must be literally a room, as the space isn't very large at all. Probably shared scare actors between rooms

??? What do you mean it was going slow? And now getting faster? It's a gravity based coaster... Was the rust slowing it down and it's slowly chipping off with cycles? Haha
