Someone on the MW FB page asked them regarding gold VIP and they replied to 'stay tuned for exciting info soon regarding VIP gold and more inclusions' but then also said for best value to still take up the current renewal offer for a regular vip. Sounds rather cryptic to me!

So I received a renewal email today for my VIP passes expiring June 30th, so a little earlier than I would have expected, but the offer was... VIP magic passes for $74.99 each and you don't have to pay until the end of June, and you get a free one day admission ticket to bring a friend before the end of June. Seems a weird offer really. Whilst its cheap (too cheap imo), there is no mention of a 'gold level' or 'night event inclusive' vip pass which is what I've had for the past 5 years. Is this the way VRTP is moving - no longer having an inclusive pass for night events? The offer is only for renewals not general public, and is only for 2 weeks. Hesitant to renew incase in 2 weeks another renewal is offered for VIP Gold.

It's clearly run by a teenager who doesn't go to school. Most of the posts have spelling or grammar errors, and are of absolutely no value except telling you what time the park opens, which nearly everyone is already aware of.

From what I saw in park on Saturday, the creatures are massive, the shark had an animatronic fin that was moving, but that was all I saw moving (though it's obviously not open yet. Seemed more of a one off visit thing than something that you would go look at again on a subsequent visit

Well as you Mention, with the exception of the Gotham area/old LW queue area/Chinatown alley, there is little room for a large attraction let alone a new world

Maybe I'm mistaken. Was there last week and was sure I could hear it running from outside, but didn't look to see the queue line

I'll stand to be corrected if it happens, but there's a better chance of MW opening a Wild West themed wooden coaster this year than Green Lantern being operational by July. You're overlooking that the ride is manufactured on the other side of the world, it's not the Movie World maintenance team who are investigating and solving the issue. Incidents of this nature in the past in other countries have seen a downtime in the years rather than months.

Wouldn't be listing Green Lantern as a pro in the movieworld list...

Being the middle of winter I wouldn't consider WnW or WWW. SW is really your only second day choice, but if thrills is what you are after you really only have Jet Rescue, unless you fancy getting soaked on Storm and freezing to death with the onshore winds on the spit. MW for thrills has Superman Escape, Batwing & Arkham. Given the timing of your visit I wouldn't comsider WWF unless it's a randomly hot winter day. Actually I take back my original post, DW has MW covered for thrills as well, just not for coasters, though with JL out there isn't much disparity. Do Dreamworld

Movieworld is down a coaster indefinitely making it at best a half day park for adults. DW is your best bet for a full day of rides. The thrills are better at MW but not as plentiful

At the park today and can am predicting soon TOT will soon no longer even go up the tower. Struggling to clear the T in Terror, not even making it half way up.

Tell me about it. Between running a business, supporting my family and all the other crap that life throws up, my stupid brain moved the 'Dreamworld park map' file to the 'non-immediately necessary to remember' folder. It's all good, I've replaced the 'extended family birthdays' file from my memory with Gazza's picture so I'll never forget it again (sorry Uncle Dave & cousin Nick)

Actually I go to DW at least once a week with my son, was just a clouded moment in my recollection!

Don't believe that to be true in the slightest Andrew. rocky hollow log ride is probably closer and major walkways go along/under the track
