  1. Tbh it didn't sound very Brazilian carnivale themed... Don't want to say too much as I do take the confidentiality of FoF pretty seriously...
  2. Agree with Alex B. MW has a very poor offering of options for younger kids. I themed indoor area with numerous rides would re-invigorate WB Kids land
  3. Wouldn't fit inside the cyclone turbine room IMO (and why would you get rid of such an awesome specimen of a turbine). No idea where it is though, sold off im assuming it's been gone since AvP opened
  4. Sounds good and with a decent programmer should be not too hard to implement
  5. My point exactly...
  6. Well that's a blatant generalisation. I've scanned barcodes on my smartphone at Dreamworld, WWW, football matches and bowling alleys
  7. Generally don't it was an oversight. And How exactly do you open it when your smartphone is in the locker??
  8. The same wristband at multiple parks? C'mon... The amount of infrastructure required to set that up would outweigh the uptake. Movie world already has all day lockers. Surely you didn't arrive at the park at 4:45, just get an all day when u arrive. The locker systems have a fixed value to them, they would have to manually re-programmed to change pricing, so you are not going to get different price points in a day. As for complaining about drink prices... Have You been to a sporting event, cinema, concert?? That's just what you need to expect to pay these days unless your buying from Coles or McDonalds
  9. Don't make excuses, that ball went straight through to the keeper...
  10. Yes Yes They They Do Do
  11. And those that may or may not have attended the focus groups regarding a certain attraction...
  12. Disclaimers, whether in a theme park, cinema or anywhere do not cover the business for failure of their duty of care. The legal process determines if that is breached regardless of any sign, or even a signed waiver
  13. Haven't watched it, doesn't interest me in the slightest. Sorry for getting the wrong time period, but makes no difference to my point. Also thanks for adding some useful constructive input to the conversation, which is after all about theme parks not literature
  14. WWF has a story?? What is it? Why are you travelling through a mine? in a boat?
  15. Dreadful idea imo... speed in that style of ride would require space, which is limited, and the theme and how premise is just no fresh or exciting in the slightest
  16. The dinosaur is gone... Must have washed away
  17. how absolutely boring... all the kids cant wait to got on a ride themed to the 70s! Its called vintage cars and located at the back of DW (just near where they are re-building Wipeout)
  18. It's at the entrance to the container. Where else would u put it??
  19. Was going to point that out but I think he wants to hear it!!??
  20. Also not that hard to use your imagination. Every detail doesn't have to be spelt out. Most people go on rides for thrills or visual theming. You're the first person I've ever heard of that finds audio narratives the best part of an attraction/ride
  21. Everyone loves Disneyland, but we're talking about Australia here. Yes there are improvements in theming that can be made here, but realistically LTRR/WWF/Storm is really as good as its gonna get here anytime soon. Expect Disney levels of theming and narrative at Australian parks is just going to lead to let down...
  22. Haha it's doing so well in the states they have already begun pre-production on the sequel, again with the majority of Visual Effects to be done in Australia. Cant really see the property being utilised at MW as either ride/attraction though...
