seaworld's major focus is marine wildlife - of which is has plenty including the new penguin exhibit. MW major focus is rides. Whilst i believe something needs to replace Bermuda, i think it is much more important for MW to get a decent family flat ride to replace LTRR prior to anything happening at SW. A theme park based around rides losing 2 attractions is more urgent than a wildlife based park missing a ride

It's annoying to put it kindly, but it is also part of the ride. I go on LW knowing its gonna be a fast, frantic, rough ride. Keep your head to one side on the banked corners u minimise the damage to your ears/head. Would almost feel weird going on it the first time with smooth carriages

Agree with colours. It has to stay dark grey or black at worst regardless of re-theme (IMO) Oh, and Lethal Weapon 5 (will never get made), police academy (ditto) are terrible theming ideas. Development has not even started on these movies so it would be a good 3-4 yrs before release (and that's if they come to fruition). I think Arkham is a great theme, or something in the Batman universe. Superman and GL get a coaster, so should batman! Space shot doesn't count!

Glad u stipulated WWF has to stay in the same place, I'm sure most people would have wanted to shift the entire ride 10 metres right of where it is now.

Anyone that was annoyed by the closure of those "family rides" is now over it. Anyone still annoyed needs to get over it I drive past MW everyday and for the past 3 weeks you'd struggle to get a park in the Carpark, and from my visits in the past month, majority of those cars belong to families with young kids. They would not keep going back if they were pissed off. If I have a young family with me - I'm looking at HWST, Scooby, Wild West Falls, the few rides in WB kids area, Looney Tunes show/parade, batman/Scooby show, Journey 4D show, bumper cars. You wouldn't even fit all that in on a busy day. Believe me, they don't notice! Or don't care!

except Ghostrider is a terrible movie and a terrible franchise. i cant believe a second movie got greenlighted on the back of how poor the first one was. Lethal Weapon is being replaced theme wise because it is no longer relevant, i'd argue that it is more relevant than Ghost Rider is or will ever be.

had 3 rides now on different days and still yet to hear any on-board audio ... maybe it is the 'give in to your fears' burnt into your head from the queue line

Rode Sea Viper yesterday and it was one of the most unpleasant experiences I've ever had on a coaster. I thought Lethal was a head banger but Viper was terrible, and a pretty boring ride to top it off.

disagree, i see a lot of merit in re-theming the front of the park as 'DC World' - providing they also invest in some more attractions/rides in Wild West etc to even it out attractions wise

Green Lantern is a great ride and Buzzsaw is a great concept. both worthy additions to the parks. every attraction doesn't need to be a massive coaster. better this than nothing! Money & space are also determinants in what is built!

Only thing I can remember was Batwing in the opening couple of days Harness released as we were going up to the launch position. At that stage we were Only about half a metre off the ground. I undid the belt and jumped down. Ride ops brought everyone back down and turns out everyOnes had undone and we being held only by belt

I like the ideas being thrown up. Personally I'd go for something like 'Escape from Arkham' or 'Arkham Escape' (probably too similar to superman escape) Theme could be that guests are touring the assylum when the joker takes control and lets out the inmates. the queue line would be lined with jail cells, ride ops in guard uniforms ushering you onto transportation vehicles to get you back to Gotham Would fit in well with release of Arkham City and Dark Knight Rises

Headed down for a ride this morning. Walk in the gates about 9:45 and was greeted by a line from the ride entrance opposite Wayne Manor down past the little drink kiosk on the right when you enter the park (about 150m) They opened gates to that attraction just after 10 and i was surprised by how quickly the line moved, i was on the ride by 10:20. First impression was great experience, very different to anything i had been on previously. So enjoyable infact that my only complaint would be that you're having such a good time that its over in what seems like 30 seconds. All up, a great addition to MW and the GC Theme Park experience. The themeing i thought was solid, seeming it looked like nothing a week ago. In fact i think it was fine. Agree with the repetitiveness of the queue audio - but thats nit picking. Cant wait to ride it again!

What's the go with Lockers for GL? Im heading to MW tomorrow especially to go on it Is there a bank of short-term lockers like SE??

Agree with most on here. Don't think Superman at the back of the carriage is gimmicky at all. Fits with the theme and 'story'. As for cringing when u see it, I honestly dont think most people notice it as they as focusing on the train itself. I don't think they put it there as a focal point. Can't make some people happy. World class ride, great theming.

Cost? Availability? Time? Or the fact that what you posted is a CG Ride? That ride doesn't even exist as yet

The question is what is DW response?? Or isn't there one? They have opened 2 new rides in 6 months - one a decent, yet very short thrill ride (buzz) and one mediocre family ride (shock wave). Whilst Buzzsaw looks great from the highway, that mantle is already faded in favour of the full circuit GL coaster at MW. I get the feeling DW was not planning any new additions for a couple of yrs given the $17m outlay this year. They may need to change their minds after GL and tge possible replacements for LLRR and BATR coming in the next 12 months. IMO Cyclone is outdated, boring and no longer a crowd puller. Im usually against replacements rather than additions but I think in this case a new full circuit coaster that outdoes GL in terms of size and WOW factor at the front or the park is their best option
