Going off a conversation I had with Churro/dipping dots dude the other day (so am not vouching for accuracy here).. DW won't be looking at future water-based rides in the park, as the 'wet' section of the park will be WWW which they really want to push as being an inclusive land/part of DW itself. He said there had been no official word to staff on the future of RHLR the overall belief of staff is it's had it's last ride. But hey, we can always hope for an extension to WWW one day and maybe a modern flume ride over that side of the park.. As for the expanse of land that can be reclaimed by removing TRR, RHLR, Blue Lagoon etc.. I'd like to see: *a signature coaster for the northern boundary of the park - keeping in mind the entertainment precinct/boulevarde running from the Town Centre to a 'planned' additional gate for DW. * family dark ride to make use of the majority of the reclaimed from TRR & Eureka mountain

The team work here is amazing.. at this rate we'll be have the layout mapped, theme sorted and be able to call the Bulletin and make the announcement ourselves before MW does..

Probably looking at 4-5 months, not all filming is on the GC but they'll have the studios secured for that time frame incase of reshoots etc. Id say that rules out the studios for FN again..

Yeah, probably was a little harsh, but do you believe that adding extra nights will bring about a higher visitation, or just a more even spread over the nights? if it's not going to bring them significant extra $$$ they won't invest in more nights, given the large operating costs per night. I pay an extra $2 a month, which admittedly is nothing, and would happily have that upped to $5 a month, maybe even $10, for access to the night events, IF the quality was improving on what we've seen from the last round of events which was WELL down on previous years IMO.. From memory the majority of fright night events in 2016 didn't sell out (correct me if I am wrong), so I don't know if you could justify extra nights..

So you hope they decrease profits by increasing costs... Please dont ever run a business..

Yeah I can see the point... the anticipation was certainly a big part of it, I liked the openness of it in that the screams from the other groups were super audible from all around you due to it having no real physical walls/barriers. I also liked the eclectic mix of characters as opposed to F13 for instance were we have 3 actors playing Jason, 3 playing injured dude, and 3 playing injured chick

And also leave plenty of time for people to trip over on a set & sue... Film Vault? Not gonna lie it was one of my favs...

I'd presume that FDTD will probably remain in one half of the 'shed' to be joined by C2 in the other half. the new bigger hero maze will be in the soundstage and we'll get another 'hero' maze in the dodgems. I don't think there is any more or less room in half the shed than there is in the dodgems so don't see a point in moving FDTD edit: yeah this is going off track from sched maintenance...

It's pretty obvious.. if the magnetic core in the centre of the earth stops rotating and we have a global loss of gravity, the ride will go up instead of down, so the airbags are there to ensure if this occurs we have a good view while everyone else floats away...

Ehh... I must be in the minority. HWSD is exactly what I expect it to be. Its an older coaster, it's not going to be smooth sailing the whole way, but it's a good thrill ride suitable for a large audience. Ive never understood the "it's so rough I got a headache" comments. Maybe some people are just more susceptible to them... It's nowhere near as painful as the ear bashing you used to cop on LW.

Doubt Top Golf will be generating any more noise than a Hypercoaster or a major motorway

I should have known whatever I wrote would be scientifically analysed for accuracy and a field study completed as to why I'm wrong.. i provided you an opinion, in the moment. That's the way I post here, in the moment. I don't have enough time in my life to research statistics on the Disney Shop (nor do I think that's relevant). Does that mean I am sometimes wrong, hell yes and I'll own it when I am. You have stats for everything, and apparently 80% of stats are made up, so I guess at least you're right 20% of the time...

Thanks for the info Jobe Will have to stop in for a look on the way down to Sydney in March. Coffs IMO has so much potential as a halfway stop for nsw/qld interstate travellers, it just needs some more attractions and gear to see the big banana getting in on the action, they certainly have the land to make themselves a great destination. interesting about the Tesla charging station! I actually haven't seen one in operation in Australia. I called up and enquired when I heard they were now available here but quickly moved on when I realised i'd need a second job to pay it off...

Poor form by management IF (I stress IF) this account of what happened is true. Tbh Craig (or whoever was in charge of the park yesterday) should have been waiting at the bottom to offer each person a sincere apology and a free lunch at Billabong. At least that's what I would have done...

My first point is do you work for the Bulletin? October was 4 months ago, and the Lego store largely caters to its own market, so why bring up October??!!!! I seriously doubt that the Lego store will become an alternate entrance to the park. That would require more staffing, and make ongoing crowd control an issue for those just looking to access the store and not DW. This store is as much a separate entity as it is part of DW, so I doubt they'd want to p*** off their customers who are trying to shop with an entry line snaked through the outlet
