  1. I’ll add that I’m happy to see the handler is okay and I hope that there’s no calls for the Tiger’s euthanisation.
  2. Wow, a news article about the incident that DOESN’T (as yet) refer to the 2016 incident: https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-09-02/tiger-attack-dreamworld-queensland-woman/104299036
  3. At no point had I associated "Jane's Rivertown Restaurant" with Tarzan Lore. DW don't have that IP, and where was "Rivertown" in Tarzan? Some conclusion jumping going on here. Looking forward to hearing more about the animatronics.
  4. I am surprised people are being so blasé about these generated images. Concept artists are having their art stolen to feed the generator software. Concept artists are losing work to image generators that were built on stolen and copyrighted art.
  5. I'd love to see a show moved back into there and HSD2 replaced with a new ride.
  6. Considering from the art they're covering the back of Superman Escape, covering Scooby is likely.
  7. I don't get it - what about their post made you lol? Anyway, I've joined SDSC's queue in the past with no staff at the entry point.
  8. It will be interesting to see how the track in red will interact (if at all) with the station and queue.
  9. Quite surprised that the Tower of Terror building and Billabong are not going. I wonder if any of the Murrisippi is being reclaimed near the Vintage Cars (grey line is the paths by the looks of it), apart from Jungle Rush passing over it at one point. Maybe they will build a boardwalk over the water?
  10. I know maps have a lot of artistic license and often hide whole precincts when closed, but are the old Gum Tree Gully buildings being removed for a full area redesign? Many of those buildings are from '82.
  11. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril is a one-trick pony with the little loop. The queue theming is good, but you're not missing much with the ride. Discoveryland hasn't changed much, it still has a steampunk aesthetic. Hyperion Cafe, Orbitron, Nautulis, etc, haven't changed.
  12. I have a memory of being near Central Station and seeing a Cougar scratching and spraying on a tree. The two handlers were keeping it on a solid chain, but it was pretty docile, happy to wander and spray. My memory was of a Mountain Lion, but it's probably the Cougar I'm thinking of. Google says they're in the same family, so easy to mix up.
  13. Put your phone in a zip lock bag while you ride, if you're concerned.
  14. My November '22 trip report mentioned this Good to see you had a good time - I quite enjoyed Ratatouille, but haven't done any of the 'better' trackless darkies than this. The scenes under the trolley, the oven and the mop were standouts for me, bringing in smells worked well too.. I regret not waiting out the line for Crush's Coaster based on your description.
  15. I just want Rivertown that looks like real Rivertown.
  16. Go back a page on this thread, one's still on the track. The monorail hasn't run since the Pandemic stated I believe.
  17. Maybe they should expand the Western area into the Doomsday area when it goes? /s
  18. Until I remembered this was in the USA, I thought - wow, 8 months late! :p
  19. Welcome @Oliver - I suspect that the Monorails here would need significant maintenance, possibly rebuilds, to be rated for use again her - let alone whatever safety standards are in place in Germany.
  20. The curious part of the mechanism talk just above, was the East side of GD having that partial drop before the actual release. Back on the original topic, the only thing I get apprehensive about on big rides is how nauseous it would make me feel. My first time on DCR was during soft opening, and I did it backwards. Was more thrilling than scary when deciding to ride. Knowing the safety standards and stats doesn't give me any fear of a malfunction (the odds are so very small), so I only "fear" my physical reaction to the ride. Last time I did ST I knew I'd not be able to do an immediate re-ride - so did SV in between. If I was peer pressured into a re-ride, I'd have fear of having to make maintenance come to the exit with a mop and bucket! :p I'd fear carnival rides like Extreme Speed 2, No Limit and XXXL for this reason more than safety.
  21. With WOO, they're timing it well with the movie release. Flash, way behind - even if they were planning a December opening.
  22. Logged into Parkz fine using a (Sim Corner) Spanish sim card while lining up for rides at Disneyland Paris. As long as you know your login credentials I believe you'll be fine. Good luck with the video transfer. If you do upload it, definitely watermark it because there will be bad actors wanting to re-host it themselves.
  23. No attraction will ever be added closer to Kopps Rd for two reasons - proximity to residences, and that whole area is a major flood point. Back on the Flash topic, interesting theme for something that's not too fast in reality. Is there a reason they won't use the Titans? Licensing? Could theme it to Raven, Nightwing or Beast Boy.
