I was going to see you and the crew on the 17th at Gumbuya World but unfortunately I am busy that day, as well as the two others (GP) who I am going with not wanting to go on that day (as there will likely be more than 100 enthusiasts there with Fast Pass, and they are not buying it) P.S Will you be going on the flat rides/waterslides at Adventure World/Adventure Park etc. or just the coasters? -

Escape from Madagascar's maintenance date has been moved from January to March-May. Also, most of the rides have also been moved from a January maintenance. Unfortunately I feel like due to the close buildings of ABC Kids, Dreamworld Express will have to be closed for months for the demolition of ABC and the building of Jungle Rush/Relocation of Vintage Cars.

I agree. The launch is more powerful than GL's chainlift, Superman goes faster, Superman is taller, Superman has more G Force, and Superman is longer in length. Just because something has inversions doesn't mean that is scarier. Heck, even the new SFC will be faster then GL and have an equal Gs to GL.

I doubt an RMC Raptor would go there or a B&M. Like I said, it would most likely be trees/scenery or something and the actual coaster gets moved to either Gumbuya World or Adventure World. DC Rivals being right next to GL kinda takes the spotlight off it as the parking lot coaster.

Unfortunately there is not a lot of room for a replacemen for Green Lantern as the coaster is stuck inbetween the entrance and DCR with no extra room. If it were to be replaced it would most likely become trees and scenery for the park with no ride replacement. However if it did get removed from Movie World, I think it could be moved to another park as I have said in previous comments. Here would be who I think would get it: Aussie World: It takes up a short amount of space so Aussie World could possibly buy it, would be a great fit for the park Big Banana - Not sure if they have the money for it and I don't think they would get it Luna Park Sydney - Not enough space for it to fit in the park it is already too crowded Jamberoo - Would be good for the park, however not sure if they would go for it Magic Mountain - Same reasons as Big Banana Adventure Park - Would be great to compete with Gumbuya World, however not sure if they would invest in it Funfields - Same reason as Adventure Park Luna Park Melbourne - Same reason as LPS Gumbuya World - Would fit in perfectly with Project Zero by getting another thrill coaster, however I'm not sure they would want to buy it Adventure World - Would be awesome, as they seem to be a perfect place for another coaster and would fit in with Abyss etc. For me if it was sold Adventure World would be most likely to receive it, then Funfields, Adventure Park and Jamberoo, then Gumbuya. LPS, LPM, MM and BB will definitely not be getting it.

If I am correct these are the manufacturers for each water ride: Boomerango (White Water West Boomerango) Taipan (White Water West Rattler/Constrictor Fusion) Red Belly Racer (ProSlide Rally Racer) Tiger Snake Tango (ProSlide Custom TurboTwister) Typhoon Island (White Water West RainFortress) Surf's Up (White Water West Flowrider) Lazy River (White Water West Wave River) The Break (ProSlide Wave Pool) Gumbuya went to WWW in Phase 1 and ProSlide in Phase 2. IIRC Funfields and White Water World only have White Water West for the water playground, Adventure Park only has them for a water playground/racing slide however Raging Waters and Wet N Wild have most of their slides with White Water West.

Sorry for the late post: If I was to compare the two parks to another Australian park, they would be two different ones. For Funfields, I would compare it to Jamberoo Action Park in NSW. The two parks both have the same family-owned feel with the toboggans, but great rides to go to. Meanwhile, I would compare Gumbuya World to Dreamworld. Yes the former is much smaller than the latter, but they both have the same feel of Waterslides, Rides and Animals.

Some more details: One plane landed belly-up, while another made an emergency landing All 7 people were injured on one plane, while 3 were injured in the other On the 7-person plane, 4 people including the pilot were killed, while 3 others are in a critical condition 3 people on the other plane were injured I feel for everyone here. All they wanted to do is go on a helicopter ride over the beach but they got injured or killed instead.

The only new way to get new attractions is to get rid of some. LPS had to get rid of 8 attractions to fit in the new ones in 2021. If LPM wanted to get rid of some to make a similar move to LPS, then they would basically have to get rid of: Pharoh's Curse Enterprise Twin Dragon The Power Surge Moon Balloons Happy Swing Ghost Train Spider Arabian Merry

I agree, I would say Funfields has the best water slides while Gumbuya has the best land rides and animals. Unfortunately for Adventure Park they are alright but are the worst compared to the other two. Another good thing about Funfield's waterslides is that they have multiple towers while all of Gumbuya's slides share the same tower. I hope the latter will expand soon to have more waterslides (hopefully ProSlide ones). Either way, it is a close battle between Funfields and Gumbuya as Victoria's best theme park.

Here is my in-depth version: Queensland Dreamworld - Kenny and Belinda's Dreamland to open on March 31st, while the Dreamworld Flier to open in June and the Ocean Parade expansion done in December. Movie World - New Kids Ride opens in April, and construction starts on the new WOO area. Wet N Wild - Surfrider is moved to Sea World. White Water World - Nothing. Sea World - Surfrider is moved to Sea World, with Vikings Revenge demolished. Aussie World - Nothing. New South Wales Big Banana - Alpine coaster built and open in December 2023. Raging Waters - Nothing. Jamberoo - Nothing. Luna Park - Nothing. Magic Mountain - Nothing. Victoria Luna Park - Nothing. Adventure Park - Maybe a wave pool built. Gumbuya World - Nothing. Funfields - Nothing. Western Australia Adventure World - Nothing.

If Surfrider is moved to Sea World, I wonder if we will see a refurb or the same branding? Either way, we will see 2 coasters next year, Big Red Boat at Dreamworld and the new alpine coaster at Big Banana. I think apart from Surfrider maybe being moved, I doubt we will see anything new from VRTP. Right now, we are going through a massive coaster boom in Australia. 2021-2024 will see around 14 coasters open (if you count the boomerang at MW as two and Project Zero as a new coaster) compared to 19 existing ones. We will see more coasters in 2021-2024 (14) compared to 2005-2020 (13). Am glad to be an enthusiast in this boom peroid.
