I was litterally at the Powerhouse 2 weeks ago just to look at the 2 steam trains. If i wanted to ride one, i can go straight over to the Zig Zag Railway for that fix. Otherwise TransportNSW and others have a plethora of steam related events.

Also, Loops=Money. MC is just a launch with nothing special and it feels like you hit a brake run the moment you leave the launch. Its better other sibling has 2 launches, hugs the ground and the dodging section. Meanwhile Aunty and Uncle have a swing launch, or a launch with bite, theming and a tophat. GC is a ride that at this point, i don't think anything alse in the area has- a lift hill and inversions in 1 package

If they say, brought the path closer to the water, then the space between the train and Taipan's restraining wall could be far enough away to justify something like a Sally small footprint dark ride. As long as you can get away with a low roof, or slope it down, it could work.

I'm going to do a bit of a wishlist here, but: Put the town in Rivertown and put some shops and stalls here like we had for RH Something regarding a boat. if Rivertown has a few necromancers that want to resurrect the steamer, go for it and bring some life to the island too, as well as that crossing cave/waterfall. If the plan is the KQ, i am more than happy for there to be a floating restaurant as long as everything to look at is up to spec. I've said it before, and ill say it again. Cavu Quest in the TOT building. If you can swing it to work with RT, perfect. If not, i am more than happy for it to be in KBDL/OP Environmental walkthrough like Moana A family ride, but behind a façade (more Jungle Cruise/MM and less almost everything from Wiggles World) Giant drop just became the local mine RHLR's carcass gets some sort of resurrection. Link the path from RT straight through to RHLR and axe the current one that would bypass it. This would give RT more life and possibly funnel people more towards Wild.

I'm going to say they need to do some sort of thematic walkthrough. Like Moana at EPCOT. Something that can sell the story more than some cards on a board. In addition to extending RiverTOWN to look more like a town.

@Spotty i'm curious, how much do you think these changes to load times are because of management vs post 2016 safety laws? And to add to it enthusiasm working with friends (like your story above) vs i guess the i don't want to be here days everyone has.

The website has been updated with the Dates and whatnot for HFHW with 28 December – 18 January. With schools going back on the 27th, it matches the running theme of stopping 1-2 weeks earlier than they should have. Also looking at the entertainment schedule, looks like Marvin isn't returning. I messaged the park to confirm as i was litterally timing my trip to coincide with the oppotunity to see it the way Nolan intended; they said "We have no other additional information regarding the Hooray for Hollywood event offerings. So again, our best advice is to please keep an eye on the website for any future updates as Management usually will make announcements here first, or feel free to contact a week before the event start and hopefully by then we will have more of idea." A week really makes the event seem like an afterthought.

$10 difference is better than what LPS were pushing a few years back (and possibly still are) where it was like $45 a week or 2 out, then went up to 70 or 80 the day of.

I've been going through regularly since i got my Osmo 2 years ago waiting for the place to be painted and all vivid so i can properly get an idea of what my camera can do, and i'm still waiting. It's so bad you can clearly see how faded Boomerang is from the Watt Park end of Quibaree.

And merely weeks prior to SW's Wild expansion, and Habitat Waterford. I wonder how it fits within the timelines of the Cairns waterpark and the new Wonderland's opening schedules.
