Aussie world new coaster opening 2025
Coppertine replied to Lmapaus's topic in Theme Park Discussion
And it seems that I was right. Looks like RCDB fell for the oldest trick in the book. This is placed just in front of SX 360 as that was going under maintenance. I'll see if I can get in contact with RCDB tonight through email (and hope the cyclone doesn't foil said plans) -
Aussie world new coaster opening 2025

Tbf, I heard them say "tilting tower ride from Eftling".. so it was mostly a misunderstanding from me as they MIGHT have meant Pagode from Eftling. But they also said that they have not finalised on a model at all (so it could even be additional seating or an extra shop).. wooops -
Aussie world new coaster opening 2025
Coppertine replied to Lmapaus's topic in Theme Park Discussion
I was there on the day. Never was about any coasters, they did kind of confirm a HUSS Topple Tower, but it can be a different tower ride of course. (and of course Water Park and Renergede Racers) -
Aussie world new coaster opening 2025
Coppertine replied to Lmapaus's topic in Theme Park Discussion
hm.. if that's the case, that could be the new tower based ride. unsure what model, but we shall see. But honestly, I don't see it as a new coaster anytime soon (if it did, it might replace Bug Run.. maybe) -
Aussie world new coaster opening 2025
Coppertine replied to Lmapaus's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Not exactly, I was a part of the Sunny Coastin event and the maitainence head stated that they are getting a motor replacement. So we could be expecting the Ferris wheel back. Unsure when tho. If they want to, they could replace it with a tower based ride (like the toppling tower ride) (but this is more so a rumor) -
Aussie world new coaster opening 2025
Coppertine replied to Lmapaus's topic in Theme Park Discussion
I have a FEELING, this came from a misunderstanding from the use of wrong maitainence fencing. There were fencing around the park with something like "Get Ready For The Rat". With a subtitle of "New coaster coming soon". Thing is "The Rat" was the old name for Dingo Racer as it was the owners idea and the staff didn't like that. Problem is that the fencing was used for the Ferris wheel and the sectioned off area of SX 360 and Renergade Racers (an upcoming flat ride), potentially confusing people to think a new coaster is coming to Aussie World. In fact, Aussie World has never confirmed or even started construction on a new coaster and wanted to start building the water park instead. -
We could be getting mist effects around. Could be cool

iirc, they are cannonically dead as the temple was discovered around 1926? (need to check the Murrissippi Motors est date). But they of course have the "live action" actors portraying the characters. So it's a bit confusing.

Wizard of Oz - Movie World Arkham Asylum Replacement
Coppertine replied to Park Addict 93's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Plus, a lot of their rides at dreamworld on after dark (takes 1 and 2) had people lining up for for long periods, even Tailwhip (iirc, it was an average of 40-50 minutes) that being with 2 trains in operation. -
Found a couple Easter eggs, one at the restaurant with The Claw claws and the other referenced from the podcast about the cards on the table. They of course reference Motocoaster.

Gonna be REAL embarrassing if so. I don't mind for a smaller park that wants a thrill ride, even ones that don't mind having a bit of dreamworlds history (ala Project Zero at Gumbuya World). But Movie World would be a Horrible place to be utilised, it's touting itself as "world class" and "innovative". It's like Disney snatching a ride from Universal.

It only keeps getting better and better. I'd love to see this tomorrow night!

We have rumors spanning THAT long?

ba dum.. tsssss?? anyways, I found the difference between Rivertown and WoZ is that thanks to WoZ ABYSMAL amount of massive black fencing, it gives off this "completedness" whilst being incomplete. (I thought the sewer was a river about to be made) Meanwhile Dreamworld's Rivertown feels actually complete, then they come around and go "but WAIT, Theres MORE!" and add tones more throughout the month.

Rivertown doesn't have many shaded places, but has a lot of themed seating and bins placed around the area. Which make sense since shades might block the sightlines for the area if not placed down correctly. As well, due to the very small area, there isn't any water fountains installed in the land. Closest to getting water without going to the resturant is by getting water at one of the food courts (which they only serve tap water?) or getting water from the Giftshop. (I kinda wish we had cooled water ready IN the land itself, but oh well.) -
Honestly, you can still enjoy an incomplete experience so long as it's mostly complete and enjoyable. (WoZ felt more like a one and done thing)

I feel that could be how they would run with 1 train. As people line up for either forward or backward facing and there might be a train out of commission (mostly guessing because the ride itself has been going on for a while since opening), they might essentially add an additional loop of the first section before doing the second half.

My best guess would be the moving platforms at the station. Other than that, they should be reliable as hell. Jungle Rush and FOTWW seem to be going well anyways.

They actually weren't on open, each of the newer stuff (I.e. snakes, gems and lighting) were slowly added in after the ride wad open

Dreamworld Annual Passes - 2024 Price Increase
Coppertine replied to themagician's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Black Friday of last year happed and whilst it was priced at $99, email newspaper subscribers got a special discount for $89 for locals annual pass. It's what I currently got and I'm still happy to pay extra for Dreamworld merch, food and drink, even if it was $150. -

Honestly, I liked when you speed through the canyons, it made the falling rocks effect that more thrilling. The only rough parts were actually on the NON-water parts of the ride (partically the backwards section). Other than that. It's in pretty damn good condition for amount of time it's been here for. -

Just to let you know that all theming elements were in working order during the White Christmas event. It was practically the most complete I've seen WWF since opening
